The National Football League Has An Impact On The American Economy Because The Sport Brings In So Much Money To The Country And The American People Live For Football Sundays And Real Fans Spend Thousands Of Dollars Each Year During The Football Season.

There is people everyday that people spend there money on game tickets an people that is die heart fans is gonna spend a lot of money. thats why football have a very BIG impact on economics.............LETS GO SAINTS!

This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. I admit I am not a sports fan. I don't go around hating on them, but I don't indulge, either. Why athletes get paid millions of dollars while children starve in the street is a mystery that I will never understand. Why who's going to the God-blessed superbowl shouldn't matter based on the bloody ratings, but WHO THE BEST TEAM IS!!! It's no wonder the country is in this state.

i agree with ari4. football dose help the economy a little, but not by much. an rrobinson4 is right the saints with blow the colts out.

NRawlins.5 said...

well rob, you missed the point here. . Anyway, The National Football League has an impact on the economy by people buying all of there products during the football season and all year round. People spend a lot of money on tickets and food at the games which brings in money to the state and the city the team is from. This goes the same with all professional sports teams.

The reason why the colts vs the saints is better than the jets is the fact the colts are a more popular team. The fact they have peyton manning which is a huge nfl star also will attract more people. while the jets are good there just not as well known as the colts..... Fyi stop hating on them colts they gonna win.

The football has part in the economic because a lot people spent thousands dollar buy ticket and bents etc. That because the football is one of the most fomos sport in U.S.

everyone saying that the colts should have no problem with the jets. the saints is goin to lose against the colts. the saints have nothin on the colts. Colts got the super bowl the saints no top player on the team. The colts have alot of main players. the colts have wayne, clerk, and the best QB Payton manning. saints QB is his first time in the super bowl. Cardnals went to the super bowl the first time an they lost. the saint is going to lose to the colts after the pro bowl. Im predicting the colts goin to smash the saints.

I can see how football helps the economy. With tickets and Views. Not to mention the products they sell which also allows for job opportunities. P.S. Colts are gonna win. I wish it could've been the Jets though...

im not a fan of football but it dont mean nothing to me so i can care less who wins

Football does help the economy in a way. People spend money on there TV's and there cable bundles so they can get to actually watch football. And then they spend money on there tickets. I spent a good amount of money on a playoff ticket to get a good seat and watch the Bengals play the Jets.. but the ticket itself was expensive.. but that money goes to help the economy. Also every "Football American" looks foward to Sundays so they can watch their games.. They spend food money and party money. So through that it helps get our economy help. Personally though... The Colts are going to win..

I dont see why everyone is trying to make a big deal out off this. In my eyes its just football to me. And i done see how it has anything to do with economy.

I find it sad how much football affects the American economy, but affect it does. Which teams are matched up could mean millions of dollars for publication organizations. I don't think people should spend so much money on sports.

alanh7 said...

Personally, I could not care less about american football; however, I see their point. Well known teams that have long been competing against each other would attract more viewers than others. Millions of Americans tune in to watch the game and it is a crucial part of the economy as most people love the entertainment. It would be impractical to not take advantage of this.

I think Ameican Football is a huge part of our economy. Its millions of dollars it brings in that goes back into the economy. People also spend it on get togethers such as food, drinks, and the t.v service to watch it. With the playoffs going on and the superbowl around the coner I think the economy is greatly helped by football.

Football has a lot to do with economics. With how many people buy tickets and go to the game and how many more watch it on tv. The colts and Vikings would be what most people would want to watch. With also having two big superstars like Payton manning and Brett farve would boost tv ratings and bring in even more money.

NBogard said...

Football impacts our economy by bringing in millions of dollars every year but also giving millions of dollars away to the players as well. Butthe impacts of the teams does bring in the money to Tv stations that broadcast so outcomes do make a difference.

eholbrook2426 said...

Football and economics go hand and hand. Football is the #1 popular sport in America and people spend money all the time to go to the games. People spend a lot of money on tickets to the games and some people even spend a lot of money just betting on who will win.

shawnpowell6 said...

The NFL is a BIG money making company they help support and fund many organizations...I'm saying there is just as much sports shown as there is news about our daily world occurances........

who am i to judge

a.nichole2010 said...

The National Football League has a impact on the economy because the players make so much money. Most Americans watch football every sunday. During the football season fans that watch the games from the t.v or buy a ticket for the games. Americans spend thousands of dollars just for the football teams.

tdodson5 said...

What football has to do with economics is that the people spend a lot of money on buying tickets to the football games. Also they have to spend money on the gas to get to the games. Now that were in this depression and people are spending their money on things that doesnt matter such as football games .

k.j.dennis.7 said...

I see that the well know teams being matched up would be better for sports channels and players because more people will pay to watch to well known teas play than a well known team and a team many people don't know. Personally i believe that people pay too much money on sports and it is affecting the economy.

Football has alot to do with economy because when people want cable or go out to do something it usually has to do with football or a huge football game that day. The majority of people want cable to watch their favorite football team or something to do with football. As well as people having big Superbowl parties, or going out to dinner with a group of friends to watch a football game, which requires them to spend a decent amount of money. This is why the NFL has to do with economy.

CRice7 said...

Football players make millions of dollars every year. Those millions of dollars spent on the players pay check could be used for such better things to benefit the economy. Not only that but during football games, especially the Super Bowl, many big company's pay millions of dollars just for a commercial to air during the game.

T.Chapman7 said...

The economic lesson in this is the more money we spend in sports the better the economy gets because people put alot of money into the NFL

Anonymous said...

Of course sports, including football.. People and companies pour billions of dollars into sports over the years. We do live in a capitalist society that in run by competition, and what's bigger competition than sports? If anything the bigger the rivalries the bigger the fan base the more people are going to put their hard earned money into sporting events and sporting paraphernalia. I'm not against it, if anything it probably keeps money in circulation, no matter how ridiculous the sums of money going into this industry is.

I disagree that the Saints and the Jets are the worst match up. I think they're both pretty good teams but I'd pick the Saints over the Jets any day.

I think that NFL player need to give money back

Madewell Toby 3rd said...

I think that football has an impact on the Economy because all the money being spent to go to the games. This is allowing money flow which is what is needed for the economy to get better.

teverhart4 said...

I think that it should be the jets and the saints. Just because that would be to go teams playing for the big game. Everyone know that the colts win if they play the saints

Football plays a huge roll in economics, it helps direct the way people spend there money. I agree that if the Colts played the Vikings it would cost more for the tickets. The Vikings would help in sales increase because there are die hard Brett Farve fans everywhere! The bigger the teams the more cost of the tickets and more people will watch it on TV. But if the Saints and Jets are good enough to play in the Super bowl then let them! They earned it right?

s.parks5 said...

People everyday spend so much money on sports. especially football. The people have to buy the tickets and spend a thousands of dollars of it each year.

MCisco5 said...

It helps out cause it can bring in a bunch of money to the economy. So all the people who spend money on there games and all the stuff they buy to support them.Every little bit helps and goes to the economy. So in the end it does end up helping out a lot.More then people thing so if sports was gone then a lot of that money would go to other stuff and then people would be less likely to spend it so then less money would go to the economy.

tsteele5 said...

In order to be able to watch the football games, you have to pay don't you? You have to buy your television or tickets, not to mention pay for the cable. So therefore, football has a lot to do with the economy.

Oh and one other thing....GO COLTS!!!
