So far, most of the articles I have posted have been on more the negative side about the economy and the recession..... finally, one that is a little more positive. We hope!
We all knew the recession would come to an end, but we weren't sure how long it would take to come to an end and at what cost. Whether or not the economy is on the upswing like Mr.Bernake suggests is debateable, but one thing is for sure, all this positive speculation has helped the stock market.
It's comforting to see the people who are responsible for our economic standing keeping an optimistic view. With all of the negative news that we see every day it is easy to forget that there is an end to our problems in the future. It's great to see that this light at the end of the tunnel is starting to come into view and that plans are being made to make sure that it comes as quickly as possible.
Its very re leaving to hear Mr. Bernake say that they have avoided depression. That does make me a little more calm and have more confidence that we will get out of this recession in a matter of time.
I think this is great news to hear. And we need to hear it because it seems thats allot of people are getting down about this recession and is afraid that we might hit another huge depression. So i give props to Mr. Bernake
Is good to know that recession has came to an end or atleast almost. people will be glad to here about this, that way everyone would stop thinking negetive about the econmoy.
I'm glad to finally read something positive about the economy. Although the nation is deeply in debt, once we get back on our feet hopefully that issue can be tackled and debt can be paid off. I'm confident that time will relieve our economic problems.
I think that hearing that the recession will be ending soon is a relief to everyone. We have been hearing all negative things about the recession and now finally we have reached a point where we can actually see the end and think positively.
Its really good to read something positive about this economy. I'm not really sure if I agree with Mr. Bernake that the economy is bouncing back that quickly, but I feel that we can pull ourselves out of this situation sooner or later. I don't think it is going to happen overnight, but I think it will happen.
I don't think we can predict the future. Because if we could we could have prevented this fall in the economy. I hope that this recession does end within this year. But things don't always go as planned.
I don't think that the recession is going to end anytime soon frankly. In order to rise, you have to see things get better first. Not many things have been improving. But eventually, it will come to an end.
I'm glad were seeing a little bit of day light. It's good that plans are being made to bring this recession to an end. I'm feeling alot more optomistic now.
I'm glad we're hearing some positive news at last. It was getting really depressing being exposed to the same pessimism day after day. Let's hope it keeps up.
We all knew, and hoped, that the recession would not go into a full fledge depression. I dont think that helping some of the companies with bailouts was the right decision and this is where i differ in my opinions with Mr. Bernake. I do not support all of our new presidents choices. Unfortunately, all we can do is wait and see how these decisions pan out.
I myself, alongside everyone else, am also relieved to hear that the recession is likely near its end. There is confidence for me in Bernanke's statement that we have averted the risk of falling in to a new American depression. Hopefully, we have gotten past this stage.
Hopefully Mr.Bernake is predicting correctly when he says this recession is close to its end. We've been hearing alot of negative news so to hear this is reassuring.
If only everyone could be positive and not think about the recession. Maybe if everyone thought like Mr. Bernake there wouldn't be a recession in the first place.
With all the negative news Americans hear everyday its great to see something positive. This optimistic view is exactly what needs to be published everyday instead of depressing news that lowers the sprits of Americans .
It's Comforting. This Is Really Great News To Be Hearing. Everyone Knows That We Are In A Recession Right Now But Hearing This Kinda Brings Our Spirits Up Cause Many Believed That We Might Go Into Another Depression Which Would Be Horrifying.
Its harp to believe what Bernake says now because of all of the negatives we hear. I hope he is right about this. Its great to hear the optimism. Im still ecpecting the long haul though.
I feel better seeing the people who are doing our economic standing with a positive outlook. Its great to see the change and that plans will be made that will work for us. This has deffinately helped the stock market, and you can see this!
It is hard for me to believe Mr. Bernake and what he says because it seems like all i hear about this recession is so negative. But i really hope hes right and that his ideas will turn this economy around
we all expect and know that this recession will come to an end. even tough no one really knows when and what it might cost us. one good thing that all the positive rumors has helped the stock markets and as long as that keeps going we might end up getting out of this recession faster then we thought.
I'm not so sure the economy is going to be back to normal by the end of this year. My projected date to see a turn around is the end of 2010. Although there is some good happening in the economy right now, the bad still outweighs it. We still have to wait for the employment rate to rise and for businesses to stop failing. We will however eventually get out of this crisis.
It is very good news to hear the our people involved with the economy believe it is getting better. I do not think the economy is all the sudden going to get better, but atleast people are staying optimistic.
I'll basically echo what the others have said. It's nice to hear POSITIVE news. With all the atrocities plaguing our news waves, it's a nice change of pace. I think we still have to brave more darkness but at least we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
i honestly think people were over exaggerating about this recession in the first place. Every one was just scared that it would turn into a long depression. But its a good thing its not because i have to go to college!!

I'm glad that the economy is almost out of this recession. We needed a positive out look like Mr. Benarke is giving. I just hope it stays this way.
