From the article I learned that surplus oil supplies after the petrolleum goes to the refineries often reeks havoc on our gas prices. I also learned that a lot of the prices are higher due to iran cutting off oil supply by Tehran to inhance nuclear amibitions. This will devastate my family financially. With 3 of four people in my household driving we spend a lot of money just driving round town trying to get our everyday things done.

From the article I learned that prices are going higher partly because of speculators but also because of Iran's nuclear ambitions and Tehran's possibly cutting off the Strait of Hermanz which would in effect, cut off most of the world's supply of oil. This will hurt us a lot as my mom's job is about 45mins away and my grandmother's is 30mins. We us a substancial amount of gas going to get groceries or other things that a re needed.

From the article I learned that crude oil is actually very expensive and the only part of gas that is being raised is because of crude oil. It is priced the same where no matter where you get it from from the market price. The House of Representatives passed a bill to increase offshore drilling and develop oil share resources. This for sure effects my family because even with my mom and I, we do a lot of driving. She works in Dayton so that alone uses a ton of gas. I use a lot of gas just getting around doing things I need to get done.

I've learned that gas prices rise and fall based on the rates and trading situations. Of course this affects my family because we travel a lot, especially during the summer when I play AAU basketball. Maybe my family can save fuel by limiting where we travel and making fewer trips to little places; like stores and malls. If we do that, we could save a lot of needed money for other expenses. Yeah, so that's pretty much it on the whole gas prices thing...

surplus oil prices causes gas prices to go up, also iran cut oil supplies to other countries so they could inhance nuclear ambitions, i dont drive and my parents have 2 cars so getting gas isnt that bad

I learned in this article that we are using more American gas and oil and Americans are buying more fuel efficient cars. We have went into a huge depression because of how bad our economy was and you would think that because our economy is doing better, gas prices would go down, but they haven't they are still climbing to almost $4 a gallon. Gas prices will continue to climb because we continue to be willing to pay these outrageous prices.

From the article i learned the oil prices are rising because the petrolleum goes to the refineries often reeks havoc on our gas price and Tehran's possibly cutting off the Strait of Hermanz. I drive alot and if gas prices are really high I'm still going to have to buy the gas.

from this article i learned that gas prices are going up because speculators and the problems going on. this will hurt people because we need gas but it is getting too expensive. this will cause my family to not want to go places as much.

I spend a lot of money driving because i drive a SUV and its hard sometimes finding money

I learned from this article that gas prices are going up due to problems with speculators and trade issues. Iran has also cut off their supplies, and this can hurt our economy as well. This will probably hurt my mother because she does a lot of driving on a daily basis. Crude oil is very expensive, and this will hurt our economy a lot. My family probably won't be doing a lot of commuting from now on.

From this article I have learned that gas prices are going up because of spectators. This wouldn't effect me because I don't drive, but this would however effect my aunt and everyone who drives a lot on a daily bases. If gas prices rise extremely then people aren't going to want to drive and travel as much.

From this article, I have learned that prices on oil have been rising due to speculators and to Iran cutting of the supply. This will have a large impact on me and my family. We have three cars and we need to do a lot of driving to get things done.

In this article I learned that supplies of oil go to refineries and are what makes our gas prices to high. They are also high because of Iran cutting off the supply, and they are where we recieve most of our oil. This will be hard on my family and I because I will be getting a car soon and i do not yet have a job. So my mom will have to help pay for my gas as well as her own. Also, my step-dad is a truck driver and it will be significantly harder on him since he travels vastly every day of the week.

This article is about some of the reasons why gas prices are going up. Some of these things include The threat of Tehran blocking off the supply of oil due to Iran's nuclear ambitions, Possibly speculators, and Surplus gas. This will affect many families and mine also, people aren't made of money these days and can barely find jobs. Sooner or later people will have to stop driving all together in protest.

surplus oil prices causes gas prices to go up, also iran cut oil supplies to other countries for their own military gain. This will affect my family, because i think it will affect every family. It will cause a lot less travel, and a more ambitious quest to reduce gas consumption.

From the article i learned how oil prices are rising and why they are rising. Iran has been cutting off our supply of oil which is rising the price because the demand is so high! I know for a fact the gas has been rising because every week or so i have to fill up my tank, and each week it costs a little more each day. It's a crazy thing to see especially with summer coming soon. Hopefully the prices go down some and not go to the predicted gas price of this summer, but we can only pray and see what happens.

I learned that more and more Americans are buying fuel efficient cars, and that Iran cut off oil supply, causing prices to rise in America. My family will not drive as much, or nearly as far.

Two things that I have learned from the article that gas prices rise and fall based on the trading situations. This will impact my family because we have five drivers and six cars. My dad drives to sharonville everyday to work my mom drives to loveland to work once or twice a week. My older brother drives to sinclair three times a week a drive to school and work and so does my brother our family spends a lot money on gas a month.

From the article I learned that gas prices are becoming more expensive is because of problems with trade and speculators. Iran cutting off their supply is going to hurt our economy greatly. If the gas prices continue to rise people are not going to want to drive as much.

From this article I learned that the United States is producing more of it's own oil and natural gas. Also, I learned that the tensions with Iran's nuclear ambitions could cut off our oil that we receive from them. Due to these fears gas prices continue to increase. The price of gas affects my family greatly. All four people that live in my house drive and three of us drive gas guzzlers. With only one of my parents working, money is always tight and the high gas prices don't help.

I learned that surplus oil supplies after the petroleum goes to the refineries often reeks havoc on our gas prices. I also learned that a lot of the prices are higher due to Iran cutting off oil supply by Tehran to enhance nuclear ambitions. This will really hurt my familt because My dad works and will be attending college soon, as well as, my older brother going to and from Sincalair, plus all the trips to and from school for me and my little brother. We spend a lot of money on gas already.

From this article I learned that the prices in gas are rising and falling because of Iran stopping the trade of oil with us. This will definitely hurt our economy. We have three cars and they aren't smart cars so we use a lot of gas for a lot of money. This will definitely affect our money income.

The article taught me that trade with Iran and surplus being sent to refineries are the reasons prices are so High. This will affect my family because we have three suvs and they aren't good on gas.

From reading this article I learned that the gas prices rise and decline due to Iran stopping the trade with us. This will hurt our economy as well as my family. I believe that Americans are doing their best to find ways to save money on gas by car pulling, and buying more fuel efficient vehicles.

Things that I learned were that Iran cut oil prices to certain countries for their own military gain, and that surplus oil raises gas prices. This hurts my family because we have three drivers, and live on the edge of Middletown.

Sierra Kelly - Period 1 said...

What I learned from this article is that the price of gas rises and declines due to Iran cutting off trade with us and the different chemicals that are being put into the gas during that time of year and what the demand for gas is during that time of year. So, how much you drive during that season depends on the price. This does effect my family because we like doing family things in the summer, so we pay a lot more for gas then. Also, we only have one car so when my grandma needs to go to the doctor (which is every week, twice a week) then we are paying more for gas.

from the article I learned that gas prices have risen because of the trade crisis with Iran and speculators. This will have a huge impact on my family, my mom and step dad drive atleast 30 minutes to and from work every day and my dad spends around 500 $ on gas a month if not more. This is going to effect a lot of people and defintely our economy. Hopefully the nation can find a way to lower gas prices and help everyone

From this article I learned that speculators have a large hand in the increase of gas prices. I also learned that prices have risen due to iran cutting off supplies. This will harm my family economic seeing as my entire family drives long distances to work.

I learned that we made a bad decision supporting Israel in Carter's presidency. Due to our bad foreign policies, the Middle East has taken a horrid view against us and we have to pay due to it. We still support Israel to this day, and the Middle East continues to hate us, thus constantly fluctuating our gas prices constantly. The The price of gas will affect every citizen in the US, and with our huge nature conservation movements, its hard to drill for our own oil. Although cars like the Chevy volt are on the market, the cost of gas still outweighs the cost of an electric car for many years and as citizens we aim to save in the short run, not to barely save, if at all, in the long run.

I learned that tension over Iran's nuclear ambitions could cause Tehran to block the Strait of Hormuz, choking off access to much of the world's oil supply, and that spikes in the cost of oil are largely caused by speculators. This will impact my family because my mom's job is a half hour drive at the least. This is a lot of money to shell out on gas each week.

i learned that prices are are getting higher because of spectators and because of whats going on in Iran. this really wont affect my family because yea it sucks to pay alot for gas but its a price u have to pay to go places.

From the article I learned that the price of gas is raised mostly because of crude oil and because Iran cutting off the oil supply. This is terrible in my household because my family has to drive and to drive they need a lot of gas but with gas being so high and plans on it getting even higher I don't think my family will be able to do what they do now. My grandma takes care of everyone in my household and outside. She takes care of everyone in my family, really. And to do this she has to drive a lot but she is only on social security and barely makes enough to drive herself around this rise in gas is really going to hurt her.

I learned that gas prices are going up because of a surplus in oil. I also learned that Iran cut off oil supplies to other countries so they could enhance nuclear ambitions, which cause our gas prices to increase. Every member in my house has their license and drive every day, so this affects my household a lot. We probably wont be driving as much and will be staying at home.

In this article i learned that Tehran is threatening to block off its supply of oil due to Iran's want for nuclear weapons. Thats most of the worlds oil right their. If its blocked off the whole world will suffer.I learned that gas prices are going up because of a surplus in oil. This will affect might family in a big way. I play club soccer and we have to travel a whole lot. So that means less and less money will go to other things in order for us to be able to pay for gas.

macyfaulkner1 said...

This article explains why the price of gas is rising. From this article i learned that one of the reasons gas prices are getting higher is spectators. Also Iran has cut off our oil supply. This will effect most Americans and my family. We will be driving much less than before to save gas.

I learned that surplus oil supplies after the petroleum goes to the refineries makes a corruption in our gas prices. I also learned that crude oil is very expensive and that the prices have sky rocketed in the last few years.
