The bed bugs issue in american just keeps on getting worse and worse, and many hotels and movie theaters are suffering as well. It is very disgusting. I do not recall this issue ever being anywhere like this in the past until just recently, so its not like its always been a issue, and it is making some people wealthier with extermination companies in need of ridding them, but the need to be exterminated to where they are no longer a problem
This article is saying that bedbugs are becoming a big problem. Although they do not carry diseases they are very hard to get rid of. Exterminators are going to have to start raising prices because they keep using all their supplies. I sincerely hope this will not become a problem at the high school.
Bed bugs are gross! There is no excuse for anyones house being dirty enough to allow bugs to live in your place of rest. Bed bugs do not like heat and light so if you think you may have them place your belongings outside in the sun for a while. But, our school nurse found a bed bug in the high school, so PLEASE be careful and aware of what your taking home and bringing to school.
Bed bugs i believe are EVERYWHERE! Also everyone needs to so much more cautious on where they go and what they take with them. hotels are infested with them and now we even here about schools starting to to get them and canceling for it.
I can't believe there are so many bedbugs in America, every time I see a bug I freak out. I think that extrmination companys are smart to rise their prices.
I have no idea why bed bugs are everywhere. Clearly, public facilities need to be cleaner or something, and if the infestation is so bad than clearly extermination services need to be free or cheaper than what they are.
I can't believe how bad bed bugs have become in America. Are places just not keeping things clean at all? Like how could you just let things be so nasty and get infested with bugs. Bed bugs are really hard to get rid of too once you have them. I don't blame the extermination companies to have to raise their prices.
I can not believe bed bugs are becoming a epidemic, and that just worries me. This article is about the spread of bed bugs, and which way to kill them is most effective. Since bed bugs don’t carry diseases the Health departments don’t do anything about the complaints from residents.
Bed bugs are rising in numbers. It is getting harder and harder for us to get rid of them. They can only be killed by extreme heat or by exterminators. bed bugs are a burden. anyone can get them and they are very hard to get rid of. Many things have been destroyed by bed bugs.
The bed bug increase is disgusting to me. There is almost no way to control if they get into your house or not. If the pesticides get to expensive people won't be able to afford to get rid of bed bugs and they will just spread even faster. We need to come up with a cheaper solution... maybe the intense vacuuming or something like that will work.
I think the bed bug issue is awful. Someone needs to figure out a way to get rid of these bugs without paying the high expense for pesticides. Another issue is controlling them. It's so hard to keep them off of your bags that you put on the ground at school, so therefore they get tracked into your homes.
This bed bug problem is pretty scary, it makes you think, could bed bugs be at school? There needs to be a cheap, easy and quick way to get rid of them. Hotel, movie theaters and other buildings need to do regulatory checks for bed bugs to help keep the problem under control.
Bed bugs are disgusting, and hard to get rid of. They don't carry diseases, but they are a pain to get rid of. The extermination companies are raising their prices because of the recent bed bug epidemic, and I don't blame them a bit.
Disgusting!!!!!!! ewww! I would hate to wake up with one of those things on my face or anywhere. The fact that exterminators are charging more is no surprise or even an issue. They have a right to charge more because there is more demand for their services.
bed bugs are becoming an increasing problem lately. even though they dont carry diseases, exterminators are having a hard time keeping the numbers under control. Its nasty to think about in my opinion.
Bed bugs are tiny little domesticated insects that while not carrying fatal diseases are prone to triphling homes that are dark and not heated. In more and more cases we are starting to see the cleaner homes invaded, this goes to tell you bed bugs don't discriminate. Also they are becoming a big issue in America and with Cincinnati being the third highest in bed bugs and we being a scratch and a sniff away from them is scary. So this is why I say this plea if you have bed bugs STAY AY HOME!
Of course cost of pesticides are increasing. Money makes the world go 'round and companies will take any chance they can to make a few extra bucks. The bedbugs, uh, epidemic is disgusting but maybe with winter being right around the corner houses will be heated more and the bedbug problem will cease for a little while.
When did bedbugs become such a big problem?? I've never seen one im my life. But this artict says that the problem is rising and that exterminators are going to have to start charging more because of all the produscts they're using. I think that if people cleaned their houses and motels thoroughly then we wouldn't have to add this problem to everything else thats going on in America. I really hope that this problem starts to die down soon.
The bed bug issue is out of control. I mean it makes our country look bad because of how they are spreading, it is making people look dirty. For pete's sake my own mother wont let me bring my backpack in the house at night for fear of bedbugs from school. It irritates me to no end. And why does freaking termination of them have to be so dang expensive? They are a bug. I pay the bug guy to come and spray my house once a year and all we give him is $50. So why is it so dang expensive. To me this is a very easy problem to solve.
I wonder what suddenly made so many bed bugs come and infest peoples homes? It is pretty disgusting to think about, even if they don't carry and diseases. I have herd more and more about bed bug infestations, and it seems to be become a major problem through out America.
I personally know people who have had bed bugs in their home recently. My dad works at Atrium and has patients that come to him and they have bed bugs. I am of the opinion that this is absolutely discusting. I hate bugs and I know this issue just keeps getting worse. Bed bugs are a growing probelm that need to be addressed. The article states that, "Health departments don’t track bedbug complaints because the bugs don’t carry diseases." I think that these compliants need to need to be tracked because it doesn't seem like this issue is going to be let up anytime soon.
Bed bugs are becoming a huge issue here in the united states. Therefore the extermination companies are making much more money getting them out of hotels, movie theaters, and ect.
From experience... I can tell you from going to relatives that are not the cleansest of people that bed bugs are not fun. They usually come in three because of "breakfast, lunch, & dinner" and they look like small measals. Plus theyre red and they itch, a lot, they get everywhere and theres nothing you can do for the bites except for wait for them to go away. For this reason i will make sure that any house I ever live in will never have bed bugs. Bed bugs are the bugs of the devil.
Bed bugs are gross, and getting worse. We need to do something, and do it fast. Bugs are increasing in public places, and being taken home, and then to school. Making them spread more and more. People need to clean their living environment, and be respectable and clean when not at home. I for one would like to be able to go to the movies, and school, without the worry of getting a nasty bug.
Bed bugs DISGUST me! Every time somebody mentions them, I start to get really grossed out. Bed bugs are a really big problem today. I mainly believe it is because many people have poor cleaning habits and have thought "little bugs won't do anything". Ha, they are sooo wrong. I don't blame the exterminators for raising their prices. They are using a lot of chemicals to kill them, and they are in high demand of exterminating. It's just more money going towards the companies. I think more people should get in the habit of cleaning their homes and maintain good hygiene. Maybe this would reduce bed bugs.
Bed bugs are a very bad problem now. Hotels have even been shut down, and extermination, and lack of business caused bankrupcy. The bed bug epademic is now effecting not only our lives, but our economy. This ,akes for a large increase in extermination services, but a decrease in publicly used building such as a hotel.
I hate bugs to no end, and even thinking of these bed bugs grosses me out. It was like these little bugs came out of nowhere, and have attacked America. I can understand why pesticide products are increasing, causing the exterminators to increse prices, but it also worries me because if they get too high, how are people going to get rid of them? It's a very scary thing to think about. They could be anywhere and you don't even know.
i feel that there is an extreme bedbug issue in the area that really needs to be taken care of. cleaning is not the issue they carry on clothes and bedding. i dont think its an issue of exterminaters its an issue of getting rid of them cause once u have them its like almost impossibleto get rid of them.
As bedbugs continue to spread, one must ask why is it that they are becoming such a major problem so quickly? We have been hearing about them more and more, so they must be becoming more common throughout the US. Perhaps there will be some new innovation in pesticides or extermination techniques made out of the necessity to eliminate bedbugs.
Bed bugs have recently become a problem in alot of US states. It spread so quickly, reaction time by the citizens and exterminator companies was very slow. Now, the prices of hiring an exterminator will be outrageous. With supplies running low, exterminators will be a hard find eventually.
It's sad that there are so many cases of bed bugs in the United States that exterminators are running out of chemicals and having to raise their prices. There is no reason why someone should have a house so dirty that bed beds are an issue. I just hope that everyone who has bed bugs is taking care of the problem correctly, so they don't spread them to other people. Now that I know about the awful effects of an infestation of bed bugs, I am aware that I need to be extra careful about what I may carry home with me.
with bed bugs problems growing, local exterminators are raising their prices. The pesticide is struggleing to keep up with the demand which is why the prices are rising. Some places are trying to find cheaper and more natural ways to kill the bugs, like intense vacuuming, super hot vapor or dry steam. The health deparments don't track bed bug infestations because the bugs doo not carry diseases. the bed bug problem shows no sign of letting up soon.
This seems unbelieveable, from what I can remember bed bugs never used to be a big issue. Recently, every time you go somewhere you almost expect to find these pesky creatures. I feel that the cleanliness should be ultimatly stepped up in public places and allow for the worry of finding these creatures a thing of the past.
bed bugs are absolutly increasing infestation and the compainies can not keep up with the demand on all supplies for bed bug remover and or cleaner. but it is not of great importance because they are not leithal by any means or so they say.
Why are bed bugs becoming such an increasing problem? I mean in past years, i have rarely heard even the slightest problem with them, but now they're everywhere. Does it have to deal with the cleanliness of Americans or is it just a natural yet bizarre occurrence. And why is everyone so panicked and freaked out. Yes its a bug and of course its disgusting, but they aren't disease ridden. So instead of freaking out just keep things clean and if you do find them take care of the problem. In other words, be smart, be clean ,and just keep a close eye out for the "little buggers."
The bedbugs problem is something that needs to be fixed. We don't live in the caveman days anymore and have good enough technology to keep these creatures out! I've already been bit by a spider while I was sleeping once, so someone needs to do something, and invent something asap.
Bed bugs are becoming a terrible problem lately. Exterminators are having a hard time keeping the bed bug expansion under control. I think that they are becoming immune to the common ways to kill them and it will take more extreme measures to quiet the storm.
Bedbugs are rising in population and it's unsanitary. Hotels and movie theaters are suffering. It's everywhere and people need to be careful about what comes into their homes. Just please be clean and check throughout the house for these bugs.
bed bugs are so nasty! but i do understand that it is not nessicerally the person's fault for having them, but they need to get rid of them! i think an exterminator is the way to go!
i cant recall ever actuall hearing of bed bugs in america till a few years ago so they have been here that long but it is still a big problem that i don't think will go away anytime soon.
Bed bugs are disgusting! They have to come from another country and people bringing them over here. That's why they are in hotels and different places tourist go. It doesn't matter how clean or how dirty your house is everyone can get bed bugs. Therefore some scientist need to invent a formula that you drop around your house to keep them out.
The bed bugs issue in american just keeps on getting worse and worse, and many hotels and movie theaters are suffering as well. It is very disgusting. Bed bugs are really hard to get rid of too once you have them. I don't blame the extermination companies to have to raise their prices.
well, its the sad truth. they are here. its an invasion led by the government to take over our way of life by infecting our brains with the bugs. sadly though there is nothing really that we can do about it.
bed bugs are gross! I BLAME people not cleaning not taking good clean care of what they have. my mom runs a hotel and she sprays almost every room after someone stays for a long period of time. my house gets sprayed every year! ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
Bedbugs suck. There are so many bed bugs in america now.. they are everywhere. So many hotels, movie theaters, ect. They are extremely hard t get rid of, if we don't get rid of them now we never will.

The bed bugs have been uncreasing rapidly and now hace made it to our city middletown. Just another thing that people now have to worry about and pay for.
"exterminators are using pesticides so fast that their suppliers are struggling to keep up with demand, leading to higher prices in some cases." i think this is crazy that these bed bugs have gotten so bad that there struggling. The only good thing is they dont carry diseases. and hope they never will.

Bed bugs were nonexistant in America. I blame lazy cleaning in hotels for bedbugs. I do think it is a good time to invest in exterminators.

In response to rkeefe2, they don't clean hotel beds! It's not that they are lazy, it's just that they are not paid to do so!
