I do not think that we are out of a recession. People are losing their jobs and several people in my family were affected by losing their jobs because of the recession. The gas prices are raising and if people dont have jobs then how are they going to pay for gas? Its been hard for people lately and everybody is getting affected by it. I think things are going to get better but it will take a while because there is a lot of damage to put back together.
The United States are not out of a recession. Many people are losing jobs many articles are stating the job losses.Gas prices are sky high, they're almost 3 dollars. It's been a struggle for thoes with families trying to maintain what they have.I see that many people are living pay check to pay check.I would have to say we're not out of the worst.
I think that the worst of the recession is over. The economy is going to start perking up, but those who have suffered badly will probably not feel the turn for the better for a few months. I agree with the author that the housing market will be a large part of America's recovery.
The recession is still going on but the worst part is over. Jobs are still a big problem. A lot of people i know are having issues getting jobs. Being a teenager its hard to get the jobs you used to be able to get. Gas is also a big problem the money families used to make to eat is now being used on the price of gas.
Im not totally convinced we are out of the woods, but i think we can certainly see the light at the end of this mess. Recessions are storms that we must be ready for, and are the most unpredictable. Those who have been riding just over the surface might have to hold their breath a little longer, but the re-building is coming together, with the banks finally getting a lid on things. Gas will be a problem, but people have been complaining about gas since I was born. So just a little more troubled waters before we see land, i hope.
We are defiantly not out of this recession. So many people are still out there that can't even get a job at Mcdonalds anymore. People are loosing there jobs and getting laid off. Nobody won't be able to get around because the gas prices are almost like 3 dollars now. If we don't have jobs, who's paying for the gas? I think things will get better but it's going to take some time.
I don't thin we are either its the people on losing their jobs an cause of the gas prices. the people that is unemployed is gonna have the most struggle because they don't have money on gas. so its affecting them the most.
We are not out of the recession just yet. We are starting to get better and the economy is slowly getting better. Gas prices will be high as long as this many people are out of jobs. People that are looking for jobs have to start looking very hard. It is very hard to get a job anywhere right now, and like sparks said, even McyyDs. There are a lot of tings we need to rebuild. We eventually will but it will take a while.
The recession is still having a strong effect on most people. We are for sure not coming out of the recession yet. Things will get worse before they get better, we have to ride it out and see what will happen. Gas prices will get higher and there will still be a lot of unemployed people.
I dont believe America is out of the recession however i do believe that we are on our way. Its going to take years to get our economy back to the way it was. i feel this quote backs up my opinion
"We're on the right side of the economic cycle right now," Derrick said. "But the average individual may still be looking for jobs or not getting pay raises."
NO! we are not through the worst of it all. I think that jobs are still going to be cut, prices will go up, and people are going to hate it all. Obama can say whatever he wants but its going to take awile to get through this mess that we've been in since Bush. I think we wont see any light in this situation till about this time next year, by then we will *hopefully* be out of a good amount of this mess.
I think that the United States is still not done with the recession. Everyday people are still loosing jobs and when that happens, the economy is going to get worse. A major part of the economy is people spending money. When they spend money, it helps other business pay their employes and pay for their supply. So i think that we will be on the right track if jobs stop getting rid of people and the people spend some money at other stores.
I think the US is definitely coming up to the end of the recession. But i also think that it may take a while for everyone to recognize this. No we are not at the end, but close. I do agree that housing markets will help, too.
No... I do not believe that we are coming out of the recession just yet.... However I do believe that things will get worse before they get any better! I Just think that we need to invest our money in something that we know will lift up off the ground... And the word recession is mainly about money or losing your jobs or whatever ... what people Fail to realize is that money Can't solve everything, and that your job doesn't pay your bills......you do! you're only in the recession if you're spending too much money..... fly Above it!
What I really got out of this is that we're not exactly out of the recession quite yet... But we're looking up. Which I don't know if I can concur yet but I can say that I like the sound of it.
I think the economy is recovering little by little because in 2008 the economy fell apart things went bad a lot of people lost their homes, their jobs and things didn't look so good for many hard working workers out their. When the economy went down the expenses went up several people were affected. In the article Hembre Feared that the housing market is still very weak. That means that it could lower the chances of a strong recovery in the economy. I think that the economy will get better over time.
I think that we are still in a bad recession right now. Many family's were effected badly because, of the job loses. If people don't have jobs how do they expect to pay for the gas and crops such as orange juice since the prices are steady rising because, of the cold weather. Sooner or later the economy will be back the same hopefully when the weather start getting warmer.
I want to know when are things going to get better. How long will U.S. citizens those their jobs? Gas prices will go up ? There are so many questions but we're not really getting answers so it's up to us to stand up about this and get serious.
I think the people needs help to keep there jobs. We just need more help for the economy we can't do everything by our selfs we need help for it. People losing there jobs the mortgage is go in down so we don't have enough to pay the mortgage. My family is slowly losing money. One of them is feting drouted down on the money. His job is puting him in the lost in some money. People is trying to keep there sowere they have no worry about there mortgage. The united states is go in to have a lot of people losing teir jobs. If we don't stop it everybody is go in to lose there in the united states.
Id say that we are not out of the recession yet. Jobs are still difficult to come by and many people are still in debt. Im sure we will see some comeback this year but nothing substantial. In fact the job recession could take a few more years to heal itself.
I think we will be in the recession for a while, really the economy hasn't been good for years but people are just now realizing it. Many jobs are just now laying alot of people off, as well as the war and the gas and oil prices rising. All of the prices everywhere are rising and its just a matter of time before everything gets better, it probally will never be as good as it used to be, maybe not even close, but eventually it will get better. People have ben through alot but it will make them stronger dealing with huge crisis's like this.
We are not completely out of the recession until prices fall back down to a more comfortable level and more people get employed. We can't truly determine if we are out of the recession until we are completely out of it. If there is still a question of whether or not the recession is over, the answer is obviously no. As far as if the worst as past is also undetermined until we can look back on the complete recession. Until we are completely out we can not see the full damage and the worst parts of it.
I truly hope that the signs predicting the rising of the economy to be accurate; however, we are most likely not yet out of the clearing. A lot of it depends on the decisions the investors make, such the article states. Many people hope, like myself, that we will rise back from the ashes, but would be ignorant to just hope. My family has been hurt by the economy just like any other middle-class family, and we need to stay on our toes if the situation worsens.
The recession is definitely not over. We see it everyday, people losing jobs still and people still struggling. The economy's rising and falling isn't new. I do believe that eventually it will pick up again, maybe in this coming year or two
I think we are slowly moving out of this recession because I know people that are now getting hired for jobs.I know a neighbor of mine was laid off but has recently called back to work. And I know people are saying we are still in a recession nothing is gonna happen overnight!
I wouldn't say we are out of the recession yet. Our economy is still not strong enough and jobs are still being cut. I have family members being affected by this and it is a rough time for them. I have hope though, that 2010 will be a time when things will change, always think on the positive side.
I still think we are still in a recession. I don't see us returning to normal any time soon. With the gas prices still high is one of the causes of are state economy. When the job rate goes up and people can afford to put back into the economy the economy will stay were its at.
I truly do not see that we are out the recession yet. Job loss and unemployment are off the roof, gas prices are off the roof, and slowly so is the production of some products are off the roof. Everything slowly but surely are becoming worse and worse. And for awhile i think that it will happen.
the word going bad. things isn't going so. but it don't see like people really. trying change things. but things is kind of changing
I think we are that recession will be over soon. ANd i
a lot of people will be happy when it is all over everyone can go back to there lifes.
I still don't fully under stand how something like this happens. Or how long it will last. This is terrible i couldn't imagine how it feels to lose something that important unless it was my wii.
I do not think were out of recession. And I still think it's going to take awhile for us to fully recover and get out of it. It has cost this nation and a lot of people their homes, money, cars, and so on.
I don't believe that the recession is over but things are starting to look brighter for the economy. Gas prices are still high and there aren't many jobs open but they are opening up slowly. Marsh where I work has hired 3 or 4 new people after not hiring for a long time. It will take some time for us to get everything back on track but it will happen most likely within the next year.
I believe we are out of the worst part of the recession. The recession is still very bad but it will get better. The housing market will help the economy by a lot. The recovery will be slow but it is turning around
I do think we are still in a recession, but it is not totally over. People are still losing their jobs and having a lot of financial and housing issues. I do think we are out of the worst part of a recession, but the other hard part we have to face is getting back to where we were, which will take a lot of work and time.
I do not believe we are out of the recession yet. People are still losing jobs and houses. With all the job losses people cannot afford to pay for the always rising gas prices. Everyone is still struggling to pay their bills. I have to admit that the economic situation is getting better. Yet I still feel we have a lot of damage control to do.
I do believe we are still in the midst of a recession, although it's not as bad as people think, in my eyes. For example, my brother was working at a Wendy's and he said people were coming and going. I don't want to completely say people losing their jobs isn't happening, but I do think a lot of it is people not wanting to work somewhere for too long because they are lazy or something.
i don't think we are out of the recession yet. to many people are still losing their jobs and homes. unless something is done soon we will be in this recession for a wile to come. A few reasons is that gas is to high. big companies are leave the states. and all of Obamas plans are costing the usa more money then help it.
Things may get bad but in time things will get better. Like the saying goes things get bad before they get good so just give it time and things will get a lot better so we just have to be pationent and stick through this and we will be fine. So if you have the will power to stick through this then you will be good and know how to handle everything.
The economy has gotten really bad these past couple years. People losing jobs, people homeless etc. People need to stop being afraid to spend money, which is what keeps the economy running. Hopefully Obama fixes this.
No i do not think that we are out of the recession yet, however i think that we are on our way out. I think that we are still in a recession because we still have many people unemployeed. Many people are still being affected. I think that it will get better and we will eventually get out.
We are still in the recession. It will take us a number of years to crawl out of it. Thousands of people are gaining jobs daily but there are still thousands of people of that do not have jobs. The housing market is still having many issues at the moment and gas prices are steadily climbing up.
I don't think he are out of recession because people don't stop been affected and stile lost a lot jobs. Else everything is go up like the gas how people go buy gas if they don't has jobs don't has money. So I hope the economic is going be better but is bat to take while because there is a lot of damage to put back together.
We are definitely still in the recession. Jobs are still low as ever and gas prices are high. It will take years to get us back on our feet, even Obama knows that. It isn't going to end soon enough.
I hate when people say that the recession is over. its not over its still bad i just want everybody to know that its not over it is still going on.
I don't think were out of the recession yet many people have lost their jobs are continuing to seek employment displacing younger people from fast food jobs. Every one is effected by the gas prices and unemployment. Times is hard.
We are not out of a recession these days. With gas prices going sky high. Alot of people are getting laid off not being able to find jobs nothing. It's hard these days and its going to be a while untill everything goes back to normal.
