Since we are paying more for barrels of crude oil, the price of gas at the pump is higher. In an effort to get the money back that they spent on the barrel, all prices at the pump go up. It may not be a significant increase at all of them, but they should go up. The foreign countries gas is cheaper because they're buying their oil at a cheaper price than ours. Our dollar was weak, so that made it a whole lot cheaper for countries with different currency to buy crude oil, and have cheaper gas a the pump.

The price of gas is getting ridiculous again.. :( We're paying more for barrels so it's getting more expensive when we go to fill up. We should find a different place to buy our oil from.. I'm jealous of the other countries with cheaper gas..

The gas prices have steadily climbed since the value of the dollar has weakened. the other companies are selling a barrel of gas more than they used to. (hints the climb of gas prices). the other countries are paying less for the gas then we are. i hate thoes other countries.

well barrels of oil are getting higher so, that means we'll be paying more for gas also. it's been said since the recession is "coming to an end" people can now afford higher gas prices? i still think we should be actually out of an recession before they can say this. Really, the economy has no idea whats going on. we see gas prices go sky high & then they're unbelievably cheap again ? when will this stop.

Gas prices have been going up recently, and i think alot of it has to do with the fact that the demand for it is going up. People are starting to get jobs back, and people are driving more. The oil companies know what they are doing, and are going to get as much money out of us as they can. If we are willing to pay for it, gas prices will continue to increase.

gas prices are higher but they aren't as high as last years, so therefore it isnt that bad. but it would help if we got cheaper oil barrels.

it is horrible that the price of gas is rising again. its hard for teenagers to afford gas as is because jobs are hard to find. hopefully the prices will fall again. but since we are paying for barrels it is more expensive.

Gas prices are too high and keep going up and down.
It gets really annoying. I get tired of not knowing what
the prices are. We should start drilling oil in the United States. Then prices were going down.

this makes me mad becuase technically we're not out of the recession quite yet and i have to pay for my own gas which is gonna be even harder now that it keeps going up.

Since the economy is all screwed up, the dollar isn't as strong as other currencies, so it ends up making crude oil more expensive, which makes refiners produce less gas. All of these factors add up to make really high gas prices.
