I am glad to hear the GDP is rising, but thats not going the end to the recession, Unemployment is still high. The general public needs to start spending more to help in the recovery process. I am very glad to see there have been improvements in our economy. Over long, I believe we will see a Great Recovery, but it is not going to happen over night.

Start spending money! it'll help our economy a lot. The GDP is rising, so the future is starting to look positive, but it's not the only thing that needs to happen.

We do need to start spending money to help the economy, but the thing is that most people simply don't HAVE the money to SPEND. A great amount of our country is still unemployed, and we still have alot of homes being lost in foreclosures.
We may technically be out of the recession, but the affects are still all around us. It's going to take a while.

People are so worried about the future that they don't spend a cent. They need to spend to make jobs but keep a level of savings. Don't spend too much but don't save everything. Use a smart way of saving and buying. Reviving the economy is long process it will take awhile till we are ok.

The GDP rising could be an immensely good indicator. It is a sign that people are indeed spending and beginning to have hope for the future. And, of course, as the future looks better, the American population will spend even more. Although unemployment is still rising, it has been indicated that this often continues to happen for a while, even after a recession has actually ended.

I have no problem spending money to help the economy, just give me some money to spend. I am an avid shopper. Its great to hear the GDP is rising, that is always good for the economy. Like I've said all along though, it'll take more than one change to totally end the recession.
