i think obama's speech to the public should have been heard in all schools and classrooms and not just the economic classes and stuff. the speech was really eye opening for a lot of the students in my class. a lot of his points about the kids in america were true. he talked about that don't let your failures define you, but teach you. and i couldn't agree more with him.

i think the speech should of been mandatory for every student to hear. Some people's parents took it over board. i think it because they haven really excepted the fact that we have a african american president. and to be honest he is not all black, but i guess they think the 1 drop rule is still in action which it's not and race shouldn't even matter because we all be around each other no matter where we go. your going to see other races just deal with it and make your life fun as you can. i got to watch the speech and i thought it was good, but am not going to remember it just because of what he said but also how big of a deal people made it. alot of things that he said alot of things he said was true . my favorite quote was '' Your past can not define your future.''

I think president Obama's speech should have been heard to the public and all over the communities and everything, not just to the schools. I think that the students that actually heard or saw his sppech were left with a lot of ooh's and ahh's because when president Obama gets up on the podium to speak you always feel the rush that he has brought something great to the table.

I agree with what Obama said in his UN speech. If the world is to be truly changed, than every nation must band together. It can't just be up to the US any longer. We need assistance in stopping terrorism, genocide, and bringing peace to the middle east. Our so-called allies need to step up and do the right thing.

I think that all the things Obama said about sticking together and helping one another is true. I believe that one countries problem will soon become the others' problem. I believe that all the talk about nuclear weapons needs to continue and hopefully it will make a difference.

I agree with Obama, but I think that he has too much power if he can talk to the UN and he has a UN secretary who should be telling what he thinks. Obama's a greeat president, but he is getting too much powerful.

Yet again,Obama provides another stunning speech. Very much true in every aspect. I do believe unity is needed if U.S. is really altering as said. United States,in my opinion cannot be one of the main powerhouse nations without assistance any longer. So maybe other nations should consider playing their role in our world we wish to have but not many nations are willing to work for.

The speech Obama announced to the UN was true in my eyes i think that a lot of nations shouldn't blame the US when we can't fix something other nations should help us

I think every student should of been able to hear Obama's speech. I think some people took it a lil over board. He had a lot of point of views that the public should of heard. I took a lot of his points into consideration.

I agree with Obama in many ways. We need to learn from our mistakes and work on fixing ourselves right now. If only more people cared enough to listen to his speeches like these.

I feel that the whole student nation should have heard the speech this still shows how the country is divided...all his points were relevant because our country is struggling and he wants the students to strive to see better because we are the future decision makers of this nation

i agree with Obama's UN speech. Everyone should quit blaming each other and start to take responsibility for whats going on and start to fix it.I wish more people would listen to what he says and really take it to heart, and maybe then the nation will start healing.

It's retarded that people are getting upset over this.

I think this speech was good but I also think some people won't learn from there mistakes because they refuse to do so.

I do believe that all students should have had the opportunity to hear president Obama's speech at school. It was a historical moment that all students in the United States should have had a chance to hear.It was such an educational thing that we all should have seen. He is the first african american president and i think that the schools should have allowed us to hear it. I completely agree with all the things that he said in that speech.

The problem with this speech is that the students that it is targeting won't be helped because they simply don't care, no matter what the President says in his speech.
