In my opinion, Cash-for-Clunkers is a great program that can really help out the car industry and the fuel supply in the long run. On the other hand I do believe that it is time that the car industry stops being bailed out. Like Mitch McConnell said, "We were told this program would last for several months, it ran out of money in a week, prompting the House to rush a $2 billion extension before anybody even had time to figure out what happened to the first billion."Enough is enough.
In my opinion Cash-for-Clunkers is a fantastic program and is really helping the economy. But there also seems as if there's being alot of money put into it thats just helping the car shops.And also Collins brought up a great point about the rest of the money that's to be payed on the new car you may purchase...more debt?
I think that cash for clunkers is a great idea. It helps out families in need of goof transportation and a good, safe car. It does seem like their is being too much money put into this that could be used on other things, but overall i think it's a good working program.
I believe that Cash for Clunkers is a worth while program. It is saving a lot of gas and that leads to saving the environment. I don't like the fact that in the end, we will be the ones paying the bill for the program. I agree with the fact that the program should have included being able to trade in a clunker for a used fuel efficient car.
I feel that it was good to an extent, meaning that if you had an old car with hihg mileage more power to you, but depending on your car you have it wouldn't matter. My grandmother ended up a brand new, better more gas efficient car because of this.
I think cash-for-clunkers is a good program it helps the economy. but the only thing i think is not good what about the people who's car dont meet the standards and if they dont have a car.
I think cash for clunkers was perfect. I see newer and better cars on the road now its better for the earth.
i believe that the cash for clunkers was a great idea. it made the cars economy safe. it also helped the car industry.
Cash for clunkers happened to help the economy in a few ways. More fuel efficient,energy safe cars are now on the road because of this. While at the same time,alot of money was put into this program and in return,spending by individuals began to rise,helping to somewhat flourish the economy. So,cash for clunkers,can be defined as success.
