This article makes me kind of angry, not because of what America is doing with raising the minimum wage, just because I earn a minimum wage of $7.00 an hour because I work at a privately owned business.
But however, I still think this is going to be great for the economy, except for the fact that because people will be earning more money, they'll be spending more money. As we live in a country of supply and demand, the more money we spend, the higher prices go on our needs and wants, and then we're back in the same boat. Arg I need a raise. :\
The boost in the minimum wage has affected me. Where I work I get paid minimum wage, so the pay increase is nice. I do believe that the raise in minimum wage will help stimulate the economy because people will end up with more money in there pockets.
The increase in minimum wage will be great for the economy. People having more money to spend and circulate will help greatly to our economic low at the moment.
The increase in minimum wage is great. It helps people have a little bit more money in their pockets to help themselves in the economy. Hopefully people don't go out and spend all their money once they get it because the raise is only helping them
I think the minimum wage increase was great. I know this will sound just like everyone eles but its true! This wil help stimulate our economy because people will have more money in their pockets.
Well I feel that it's a good idea but with this is increasing inflation of money so it is making people spend more money meaning there's more money to give out, and that's if you can find a job people were looking for jobs since the first day of summer and still haven't succeeded, but if you got lucky then more power to ya.
personally i do not have a job so the pay raising does not affect me. but since other people are getting raises, hopefully this recession has thought them to spend their money in a better way.
