The troubles facing GM and Chrysler further support that recessions affect everyone, even large corporations. The Obama administration gave both companies failing grades for their turnaround efforts. I hope that GM and Chrysler can prove themselves and demonstrate a positive recovery effort in a struggling economy.

This is very disappointing. I love GM they make very reliable cars and trucks. And this is sad that two of Americas top automobile companies look like they are in major trouble. But hopefully one of their employees can pull something out of their head to bring their companies and themselves out of the hole that they are in.

I don't know how much more these car companies need, They have been given so much money to turn things around it's not even funny. GM and Chrysler really need to get their stuff together and make some much needed changes.

I think its great that the gov is going to take over Chrysler and GM to give them a fresh start. Obviously the two companies are making financial mistakes somewhere and hopefully the gov doesn't make the same mistakes. If "structural bankruptcy" is needed to save the businesses then I say file bankruptcy without hesitation.

Its sad that the companies are doing so bad but we have already given them too much instead of throwing money at them I suggest we help them make better choices. We will never come out of this recession if all our money goes to these car companies that continue to fail.

Depressing thats my key word. Even huge car companies are losing money, but i understand why if people dont have money to buy a new car. The companies are not about to make mula neither.

I hope the car company gets worked out and start gaining money because the GM is one thing that Terell and I invested in, in the How Does The Market Works Game, so its a good thing the govenment is taking over, maybe some money will be gained in the process

This recession is definitely affecting everyone. GM and Chrysler, when everyone owns cars by them. I'm not completely sure whether I agree with what Obama has done, or not. But it has been done, so he better be able to turn these corporations around.

I think it's great that the government is focusing on keeping these companies alive. They realize that the companies are not only an important economic factor but also a sense of American pride. They have made mistakes and its great to see Obama taking a firm stance and trying to fix the problems these companies face.

The Obama Administration is doing a great thing by trying to keep these companies alive. Both carmakers are important to the economy and to the American name. Hopefully they will be able to turn themselves around and prosper again.

Its pretty sad when, even with a lot of bail out money, big companies are still failing. It supports the idea of this being a really bad recession. Car companies are pretty important to our economy, and with them failing, and going bankrupt, lots of jobs will be lost. It really doesn't seem like there is any hope left.

It is sad to see so many businesses that have been here forever to go out of business. I really love GM and I hate to see them disappear so they better find a way to stay.

I hate to see such a beloved company as GM strugle. Wat i dont understand is y they would release these new concept cars during the recession, such as the camaro. I hope Obama can get them threw it, all we can do is wait and see
