I am kinda confused with this article because i don know if they are saying we should stop buying candy or we should cut back on it on those holidays because of the calories in it. Well you know thats not going to happen because there will always be little kids who are going to want candy so...
i.love.candy. i like peeps the most. i think its a good thing even during the recession people will buy candy because candy is happy. and makes people happy. i love peeps!!! wahoo.!.
This Is Actually Funny, I Would Have Never Thought Many People Spent Money On Easter For Candy I Always Thought It Was For Halloween. But I Love Candy So That Is Going To Be Hard For Me To Break I Just Gotta Have It.
ok so what does this have to do with the economy? if they are saying to stop buying candy because of all the calories and fat i say eat less or dont eat them at all. people will always buy candy because it is good.
From the article I can say that i better stop eatings those sugary Peeps. I suppose that all of this consuming of candy is a good thing for the economy from a financial standpoint but not for health.
I love candy, but it seems to be good for the economy and bad for your health. I always thought Halloween was the candy buying holiday not Easter. But to me it is not a surprise that people will buy candy even in a recession
I am not a big fan of candy. I eat it every once in awhile but I dont really go all out on it on holidays. I know a lot of people that do though and although it is bad for health it is good on economy and i think no matter what people will continue to buy it for the tradition sake of this holiday!
i don't care how many calories peeps has or any other candy i like alot. nobody really cares about calories in the good foods. Thats why our country is full of chunky people. If we cared nobody would eat the Donalds or wendy :)))))
I think its a good thing Easter is coming up so we can put some money to help the economy. that is one good thing about holidays. The candy might make us fat but our country will be great!!
I love candy and no matter how bad the recession is, I will always continue to buy it just like every other person in the world. Tradition won't stop, so buying candy for the holidays won't stop either.
I think that people will buy candy on holidays no matter how unhealthy it is. Your typical child on an easter egg hunt doesn't even know what a calorie is. At least the purchase of candy is good for the economy.
Ok... this article is confusing. We are in a recession as I have said a million times before this. Do we not need to spend money to help our economy? If in the holidays we buy more candy then does it not help the economy somehow? Telling us to stop buying candy would be stupid. In addition, candy is good and I love it! =]

Its good to see people are still willing to buy candy for holidays. It really helps keep the economy moving in the right direction.
