Even though gas prices took a ten cent spike, the prices still aren't anywhere near the $4 per gallon that it used to be. The spike is hopefully only temporary as Texas prepares for it's big hit by Ike, and hopefully it will all straighten itself out. I can't imagine what the gas would come to if major refineries are damaged productively by these tropical storms and hurricanes.
Sadly gas prices went up by ten cents. I know that I am one of many Americans who are crossing their fingers that Texas does not get hit by hurricane Ike. I think I would have to start walking if gas prices were up to or past four dollars a gallon... But on the bright side; if gas gets too expenseive, maybe people will start walking or riding their bike more to get to places. Healthy new habbits are a good thing.
Yeah, gas prices went up abou ten cents but like Hannah said they aren't near the $4 per gallon that it used to be. Hopefully the damage will be recovered quickly for the places hit by the Hurricane and for gas prices.
Gas prices have went up some but thankfully the are nowwhere near four dollars anymore. The hurricanes that have been happening recently could cause the gas prices to go up if a major refinery or something was damaged because if gas gets too expensive then most people will probably not be able to afford it then. Gas going up to high could result in a lot of people losing their jobs also.
