There was a mix of opinions about pay for a grade, but clearly some of you liked the idea of incentives. Now let's take a real problem that many are talking about and apply the same question. I think the world's governments needs to start getting tough with their people. Humans are spoiled and no longer care about the consequences of their actions, in the present and far into the future. I believe a tax will stop the selfish people of this world from destroying it. If you take their money for doing something then they probably won't do it anymore. Its like punishing a small child for doing the wrong thing. Maybe tax is a four letter word, and maybe the spoiled brats of the world will see this and stop being so selfish.
I can see where some would see this as a good idea, but I don't. Sin tax was supposed to help cut down on drinking and smoking in the United States, but has it? No. the only difference is now a homeless person had to panhandle for an extra five dollars to get their 40. I just don't see why raising taxes is the answer to every problem.
