everything is getting much harder everyday not only for the unemployed people but for everyone . prices are high on food, homes, rent, bills and everything and not everyone is going to be able to afford high prices on everything.

People need to be much more patient. These changes are slow and it might very well take a whole more year to fully get out of this recession. We can't expect things to get better instantly. Unemployment will stay high for a while, it's not going to instantly plummet down. The spending is a good sign, but companies are still cautious in case the recession still holds.

The economy seems to be making a turn for the better. People have begun spending more so there is more money in the market. However, the unemployment rate is still very high. People should not get too excited about the recession being over just yet.

It's obvious that the recession is getting a little better but things are still bad. Gas prices are still crazy and untill that lowers i personally don't see a big change in the economy. People should not get too happy just yet but at the same time keep hope alive. The positive thing is that they are spending more money.

That we have to save money because everything is going up an it bat to take a while include the unemployed so the better idea save the much money you can into we get out of the recession.

The economy has gotten better. It may have only been a slight change but these things take time. We are very far in debt and that's not going to just go away. It'll take years. Unemployment won't get any higher but it won't get any lower for awhile. Spending is good but we're still very far from returning to "normal".

The economy is slowly recovering. It is still suffering but as the article says, there is a great increase in manufacturing. This is very good for the economy and a good sign for the future of our country.

The article tells that personal income is getting higher. The unemployment is still high. I think if we start trying to create more jobs we could solve this problem. With a lot more hard work I think we could this around.

shawglenn4 said...

even though its getting better we're not out the clear yet. we're still in alot of debt; but eveyrthing takes time. so we'll see in the long run.

The Economy Is Getting Way Better And Improving Everyday But This Type Of Thing Takes Time To Be Completely Fixed. America Has Along Way To Go On Being Back To Were We Were But The Economy Is An Up And Down Type Of Thing!

rrobinson4 said...

its going up alot everybody is more at risk of losing there jobs

DustinX4 said...

I think business should just wing it and try spending more on salaries or hiring more people, because I personally feel the economy will get back on it's feet we just need the help of everyone

cwilsonpd4 said...

Its obvious the economy is getting better but it isn't getting better by much. Things take time to get better, the manufacturing is even increasing so its a turn for the better.

Lindsey B. said...

lots of people are behind hiring jobs this year and years before. Also China sell their things and money goes to them.......we waste the money here in U.S.

jteague4 said...

Its still hard to get a job, we aren't fully recovered from the recession. It takes 6 months to a year to fully get out of it. Like i said before in a recent blog i think we have 5 months left before getting jobs becomes easier and there are more opening. The unemployed rating has improved. So people just need to wait it out like they have been doing there is nothing they can do to rush the recovery. It will get better soon.

Everything these days is harder to live with these days. Unless your super rich you are going to struggle economically. Prices are high in everything. But it will get worse before its better.

people are just not getting jobs. so people can't do there income. but if they get there job they would be no problem.

The indicator tells us that people are spending to much money.

KC said...

its going to get better we just have to give it time. It may take a long time but we can come over came i think.

tim honchul6 said...

its going to get harder for people to get jobs here in the us like for teenagers that are getn out of high school it will be hard for them to get a job cause of the way the economy is

williamp said...

even with all these go signs the economy is terrible at the moment. i think every thing will turn out okay later we just need to wait. but to be honest it will get better soon

AnthonyH said...

The Economic indicator is telling us that this is going to be a long recovery. Besides a slight increase in spending, there has not been enough of an increase in household income and this will lead to low employment running rampant for longer.

triley6 said...

I agree with kward because it is getting harder and harder for us people of the usa to get jobs

This is talking about how a lot of spending is going up and the economy is moving but the thing is it's all from the government aid because people still aren't making enough and the stimulus money is only temporary and will soon run out. One theory in this blog is that bosses should up the payroll so the real wheels start turning and not the temporary ones.
Unemployment is still on the rise and it's not gonna get better anytime soon. Unless we get our economy moving

Anonymous said...

The recession is still in effect but the spending and income have gone up slightly according to the graphs. The government has created construction jobs fixing roads as we can see all over the highways and in Middletown but those jobs are only temporary and can only go on during certain seasons so while it may help now it's not a long lasting fix.

Jordan Groh said...

The economy has gotten better. It has taken a little while to move such a small margin but that's because we are in a lot of debt. A large debt that we will not be able to pay off soon. Unemployment isn't supposed to rise soon but it won't be getting any lower either. We are still very far away from returning to the way we should be.

In able to get the economy up and everything is to boost wages and ramp up hiring? Each company only has so much to give employers each hour and can only make so much to pay them to get profit. I highly doubt this will work out the way they expect it to.

everything is more difficult. this economy sucks and we need someone with a plan to help, or we could all just give up our homes, live in cardboard boxes and start over fresh. it's headed for that anyways.

TWalters5 said...

prices of everything is going up and it is still hard to find a job and a lot of people will be left homeless or worse because they can not pay for what they need.

The economic indicator tells us that the standard of living now that people have began to spend there money. but if we are not wise with are purchases we could end up right were we left off.

s.parks5 said...

The economy is going to get better. You just got to give it time. It's just not going to be done with over night. I know that prices of a lot of things like gas are outrages, but eventually things are going to be normal again. You gotta have hope :)

tsteele5 said...

Things have gotten better, but not too much better. I agree it will take time. But as for people being patient, I think we've been patient long enough!

NRawlins.5 said...

Things are getting better and we are far from going back to the way things used to be. Unemployment is not supposed to rise anytime soon and shouldn't.

It tells us that people are spending more money but maybe a little too much and to soon. They just need to be careful on what the buy and what they spend with their money.

its going up and its making it hard for everyone in the US.

MA said...

It really is getting hard to get job's now. Everything is getting to pricey and not everyone can afford it.

EnaRedzepagic said...

We cant have everything back to normal in just days. I think the economy will get better we just have to wait it out. We have to wait for things to get better like unemployment.

Bailee™ said...

Everything is getting much harder and more difficult.
All the prices are going up on everything. Its not just hard for the people out of jobs but hard for the people with jobs due to all the prices. but hopefully things will get back to normal. it'll take some time but it can happen, there have been many recessions in the past and they have came through and things got better for them, we'll just have to wait.

amber burns said...

I believe that when people are starting to spend more money the economy seems to be getting better. Maybe people have been getting paid more or maybe people have just been hired to work. Either way spending too much can cause a problem if it is not somewhat controlled.

Whitney Patrick said...

i feel like the economy is slowly coming out of the recession. It's going to take a full long while to fully recover but things are improving besides gas prices.

Akimbrough said...

Times are gettin more difficult for everyone such as workers, soilders, single parents and the unemployed

Of course the economy has finally been making a turn for the better, but that doesn't mean everything is 100 percent good. Especially since so much attention has been drawn towards the economy more now to the public than before. Still patients is important for a situation as big as the global economy even for just the U.S

teverhart4 said...

The economy is getting better and slowly we are doing everything possible to get out of the recession. People are getting jobs, not enough but more than a few months ago.

Zach Caudell said...

Why put a band-aid on a lopped off arm? Just toss it in the cooler and hope for the best. The government can only do so much to help us before we have to start helping our selves. Or just let The government control every bloody aspect and don't complain.

awilliams5 said...

So we're seeing some positive changes. People are changing their spending habbits but still spending their money which puts money into the economy so thats a plus. But the unemployment status is still pretty high. Hopefully it wont take long for the u.s to get out of this.

MCisco5 said...

Things just keep getting worse so far. Like how jobs are harder to find. Also how prices for food and gas and everything is going way way up. But all we can do is sit back and watch it happen. All we can do is hope that it gets better and sooner or later go back down to what it used to be.

Its not the consumer spending or factory outputs its the employers of the US who may be held responsible for limiting the increase in economy if they don't increase hiring and wages. Were seen spending that hasn't been seen in 5 month according to economic reports, but the spent was from savings not excess cash from paychecks.

M.Hackney5 said...

Our economy is getting harder eveyday of life an rent an insurance is going higher an higher making people spend more an more money each day. Thats cuasing recession for us

Sarah Turner said...

I think our economy is getting better.. people don understand to make money you have to spend money.. and because we have been between a rock and a hard place for so long its going to take longer to get back on our feet

jstreeter7 said...

The Economic Indicators are telling us that we are not all the way out of the recession just yet , the construction industry remains a concern. Industry spending rose 0.2 percsnt in March, and not only that unless employers boost pay and ramp up hiring. Consumer spending will taper off and damage the economy.

T.Chapman7 said...

i think the economic indicator is showing us that while people spent more more in march than the past 5 months it also shows that may not always be a good thing. for example the money people are spending is their savings and the money from their employers are not rising. which means people are spending their savings and not making it back in their annual earnings.

NBogard said...

The recession is getting better seeing as spending has increased for the biggest amount in five months. The economic indicators are showing that the economy is increasing for the better for the first time in a long time. We aren't out yet but these indicators are showing that in the next couple years we will be out of this recession.

K.Buckner6 said...

I think people are trying to go to fast and rush people. Changes take time and its going to take awhile to get out of the recession we were in. Every things not just going to change all at once. Like our unemployment. That will be high for awhile.
