hmmnn.. raising tariffs on imported chinese tires, is this supposed to be some kind of trick to help fix the economy by buying american tires?? does america even make tires???
Raising tariff on tires is just making us spend more money for tires. tariff on the tires is just have more things for the economy. the united states probably don't make tires. if the united states did make tires we be in good shape for our economy. The economy is getting better for us. using the chinese tires will just help us out. we can us all the tires that the chinese give us.
Obama Administration wants to raise taxes in the future. And also raising taxes on tires makes the economy so much worse. How much does the Obama Administration think we can take..?
Raising the price on tires really makes no sense. I say this because tires are already expensive, plus I didnt even kno we imported tires from other countries. Out of all the stuff we import we put a tariff on tires...wow

That would be very stupid of them to raise tariff on tires because, thats just going to make us pay more for tires. The economy is already in a recession and them raising tariffs is just going to make it worst.
I think this might be a good thing. Cause even though it is spending a little bit more money we will be getting out money back in time. We just have to wait and see what happens with everything. Why cant we just make tires i think it would be less expensive. if they put more tax on tires how are people who aren't wealthy and have no jobs gonna pay taxes when taxes become more expensive. If that happens i don't think the economy is ever gonna get fixed.
If Obama wants to raise the tariff on tires, then people wont buy many of them. People have enough trouble with money that they dont want to spend a lot of money on something they need. Tires help people get to where they need to go and if they can't afford it, then they can't get to work and that will make them lose more money.
Im not sure if this was a good idea. on the up side, American tires are more likly to sell. on the down side were making china, one of our significant trade partners, very upset. I guess well have to see if that 35% is too much or not.

Tarifs may or may not help. Sure, we might have to pay more for tires, but it might give more people jobs as well, giving an incentive for American companies to make more tires. These tariffs will also, hopefully, go to paying off money from the deficit. Hopefully this decision will turn out right.
President Barack Obama has raised tariffs on imported Chinese tires, in an attempt to stimulate the American economy. China and eventually other countries will doubtless be upset with this change. However, if the US economy completely dies, the other countries would be in worse trouble. So in the end, I think this will all work out.

Well all we seem to buy lately is imported goods so they are raising the tariffs on imported tires. This is in the hopes that we'll end up buying more american made goods like tires instead of trusting on the cheap imported ones that the chinese keep giving us.

Raising tariffs could help the economy. It could eventually help us with owing china. By removing them late on
