They Say The Recession Is Over But The Country Is Still Doing Bad. Things Aren't Back To Normal Yet At All. Many People Are Still Out Of A Job. Some People Are On The Verge Of Losing Their Homes And Vehicles! So, How Is The Recession Over When The American People Are Still Suffering.

I think the GDP has become out dated and needs to be replaced. One prime example of this is that some people say the recession is over but according the employment and average people, its far from over. The GPD is obviously not the best Economic Indicator.

Just like the GDP, the HPI will most likely be off. All they are a numbers the governments use that don't really show accuracy as many people are poor and maybe some others are rich, balancing out to a middle-class number. We should stop wasting time figuring out GDP, HPI, or anything else and start focusing on solutions to our problems.

I do not think that GDP is the best economic indicator because the employment rate has gone down and people are still out of jobs. So its obvious that the GDP is NOT the best economic indicator.

I do not think the GDP is the best economic indicator because when the unemployment rate is still high like right now it doesn't really show in the GDP. If jobs employment rate would increase more jobs would be filled and people would spend more money. The GDP is simply not the best indicator for the economy.

I think GDP is not the best Economic Indicator because people still are out of jobs an still suffering from Recession so therefore GDP couldn't be the best Indicator to Economic an more an more people are losing jobs, cars, homes everyday!

Even if they say that the recession is over don't mean things are better but if we look at everything then things are getting way better then what they was cause a lot of people I know are getting a bunch of jobs or are getting there jobs back.So things are going way better then what they was so just cause things are still bad don't mean we should give up hope and just let things stay as they are.We need to help with this and help with anything that we can so we just got to hang in there and things will get better we just got to wait for it

I don't understand why their saying that the recession is over even though were doing horrible still. We still have all the lost of jobs and people still not able to get enough money to pay for things that they need to pay for. Such as bills for their homes , cars, health and etc.

I think they need to do something about the GPD. People try and think the recessions over with, but it's not at all. And i just think every things gonna get worse. I mean people still cant even get a job. When they should be able to.

I feel that GDP is trying to speak for all America but is only getting to the middle class.. It seems very outdated and I think it's time we move on... And no HPI! I'm not feeling that lol

I really agree with AnthonyH because i think the GPA has become out dated and needs to be replaced also.

Well I doesn't seem seem like the recession over and it's really not if the foreclosure and unemployment rates are still high. So it doesn't make any sense to say that the recession is over when things are still going wrong.

I agree the GDP is out dated and needs to be replaced ASAP. The recession is most definitely not over. The GDP is not a good Economic Indicator at all. The information presented is not accurate.

I think that the GDP is not the best indicator because if it's not tracking the good and the bad of the Economy everyday than it's not the best indactor because it needs to be updated.

Are country is still doing bad, a lot of people are still out of jobs. There are so many people that are almost losing their homes. So there is no way the Recession is over.

GDP is bad for our country cause now it gives bad thing to us. GDP is bad cause people over the globe is coming jobless. We need to throw away the GDP cause it hurting people for jobs. the GDP is not the best cause alot of people is losing their jogs from it.

I believe it is a good economic indicator. Unemployment may still be high but that doesn't mean the economy is still bad, it could just be businesses saving up money before hiring people just in case there is another Great Depression. I personally believe people should just stop panicking. We have recovered from a depression once before, it can happen again.

i agree with Ari4 cause they do say the recession is over but the world still seems like its going down the drain an that (GDP) dose seriously need to be replaced an what they really need to do is figure out how they are gonna fix our economy an bring up out of the recession.
