that's really discusting. i don't usually eat lemons at restaurants but they are in my water a lot of the time. i just can't imagine actually eating them. probably from now on whenever i see people eating the lemons at restaurants i will stop them. i really hope this is not as big of a deal in middletown because that is grosss.

wow I did like lemon in my tea or water but honestly I do not want lemon in my drink. That is pretty GROSS! I guess you never know what the employees do. That it really gross that they found so many different bacteria on the lemon slices.

I can't help but wonder what the life of a lemon is like for the fifteen minutes before it enters one's drink. Is it touched by grimy hands that forgot to wash after going to the bathroom? Or was it sitting exposed to the elements on a dirty plate? One cannot help but wonder. I usually do not have lemon with my water, and if I do it is a rare occasion. However, I have one more reason not to use a lemon in my water outside of the oily taste it gives that drink.

This article sounds very discusting but it is just taking on the negative part of lemons. Lemons have a very distinct anti-bacterial infection in them. Lemon juice is the best bacterial cleaner for your hands, even soap. So if you put the two together. This doesnt really matter. It wont affect me and you will see me put lemons in everything still.

I believe this video about the infected lemons. I remember when i worked at lonestar, they had lemons wedges sitting in a nasty tub, and they would sit there all day exposed to everything. Then the servers would put the lemons on the glass bare-handed after cleaning dirty dishes off of a table. I never get lemon with my drinks anymore. They are truly gross. It was cool the learn the percentages though.

That's really nasty...Ugh!! I will never use lemons in my drinks from restaurants ever again! How did bacteria get in it? I'm so happy I haven't had lemons in awhile I'd probably throw up right now...

This would bother me a lot... but i don't really drink water when i go to a restaurant. But when I do, usually someone I am with dumps a lot of sugar into the water to make me mad. In this case I always put lots of lemon in the water to make myself some limonade. I am not concerened with the bacteria at all. I have enough confidence to eat lemons still... Heck I ate a goldfish out of the tank last year in biology class!

Ha. I hate to tell you Mrs. Rowland but it is true. If you want you can ask Mr. Freuef (if that is even spelled right.) he let me do it. He thought it was pretty funny.

restaurants are really discusting. You never know if the employees are washing their hands. People need to be careful with what they eat because there are a lot of bacteria in kitchens.i think the employees should be a lot cleaner everywhere. That makes me not want to eat out.

This is pretty bad. I usually do get lemon in my drinks at restaurants. They found a pretty significant amount of bacteria, and it's almost like you want to deny that they do it in Middletown. I hope that it doesn't happen in Middletown... Let's just go with.. IT DOESN'T!

Yeah thats pretty nasty I work at a restaurant and they are pretty bad about about handling the lemons with dirty hands. I doubt that emons are the only thing tha people touch with dirty hands though I went to a fast food restaurant and they made me a cheeseburger without wearing any gloves it was pretty nasty

I'm glad I dont get lemons in my drinks that much! Even though I dont they should handle the things people eat and drink alot better then that.
