Can A Star Sell You Style?

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think “Tiger Woods?”

It's an amazing thing that faces sell product. One cannot help but wonder why we buy the things we do and if we really need the things we buy. I'm not even a golfer, but would I buy some Nike clubs just because Mr. Woods uses them? It's a possibility. And that possibility is very sad. If the consumer is not careful, the prices will go up, the quality will go down, and the celebrity appeal with reach the ceiling.

yeah I can see how stars can sell products, they are role models if someone who looks up to them sees them doing or wearing something they will do or were the same thing because people want to be like famous people so they do follow whatever trend that person has made.

Yeah I can see how a star can help influence someones choice making on one product over the other. People look up to stars as a person to be like and if that person is drinking a certain thing or wearing a certain brand then you want to be just like them.

everyone looks up to the stars for what to do, how to act, how to dress. everything. it's no wonder companies use them to advertise. if a kid saw a star walking down the street in some nice sunglasses is it assumed that the kid would want the same nice sunglasses.

uhh. yeah! celebrities can sell mostly anything to anybody because its just what people are into. If I see a "raw" star with some "raw" shoes or clothes on i'm sure I'll try my hardest to get the same things. It's just how it is. But like spencer said, you have to be careful cause the price will go up, but the quailty will go down.
