I think Fragrance Free Schools is a great idea to offer many school districts. I know of some students and teachers myself that said they could passout on some different types of smells. but Im not going to lie. I did soak myself with that bod fragrance once and alot more girls came up on me.
This is probably the best idea that i have seen for schools in a while. The smell in a locker room is probably the worst smell in a high school. You know that something needs to be done because, when i go to gym class i take a deep breath and hope that i don't have to breathe when i go and change in the locker room. A kid close to me douses himself in axe and i almost gag when i pass him because he uses it instead of bathing. the sent of BO mixed with stale axe is unbearable.!!
i think the fragrence free school bill is a pretty stupid bill to propose. its a presonal choice to wear a perfume or colone. students with allergies can stay away from the strong frangrences. like they said in the article its part of your own personal hygene. whats next are they going to tell us what brand of deoderant to wear?
ok so this is actually a pretty good idea...but i also think that a little bit of body spray isnt that bad, its those students who bathe in it thats causing the problem..if students were considerate, and most of them aren't, they would ask the students in their class if they have an asthma or allergy problem then decide to put some on or not
I think students should be able to put on cologne or spray before school but not during school. Some people smell bad and they need to use something to have better hygene. As long as you apply the fragrance far away from everyone and dont use too much it should be ok.
I think that this is an interesting idea. But don't you think it is rather disappointing when we are so very concerned with students over doing it on fragrance when there are constant shootings happening in our back yards? It seems to me that our priorities are way out of wack...
In a way I agree with this because there are a lot of kids who shower in the fragrances and you can smell it a mile away. I like the axe smell but I do have to say that a little really does go a long way. At the same time though i do have to say that as a person who wears fragrances, I like my perfumes and I would hate to not wear them. So this is a kind of in between decision I guess.
Laws against smelling bad, about time. I agree completely with the article. It is an awful scent when you smell someone that has used way to much axe or body spray. I'd like it if our school district became fragrance free.
i think if kids are using perfume or cologne to cover their BO after gym class it might be alright. but the kids who are using those things to make up for not taking a shower that's not alright. i think though you would rather be smelling too much cologne or purfume than their actual body odor. people that are allergic to cologne or purfume should just stay away from people that wear it.
I don't think Fragrance Free Schools is that good of a idea... It could be okay but we at least need to have a little bit of spray or something that smells good because sometimes it STINKS, but too much could be a problem too so i don't know..
This is kinda ridiculous, why do schools feel the need to regualte the smallest things? I mean it seems like we concentrate more on dress code violations and wether people can smell or not. That just seems kinda bad if kids dont even have the choice of wearing cologne. If someone has to much cologne on het over it, and i love how the schools are always saying how theyre preparing us for the "real worl" and then they purpose something like this.Yeah I doubt in the "real world" there are going to be regualtions on fragrances. On the other hand the schools do have a point, whoever thinks girls like it when they spray half a can of axe on is just not very smart. And its pretty bad when your causing people to get sick from it but I still dont think schools should be able to take a right like that away.
This is a very good idea! Theres nothing I hate worse then walking out of gym and smelling that AWFUL smell of whatever cheap "smell goods" boys OR girls put on. I mean it doent cover up the stink, it just makes it worse and gives people a headache. SO save your money boys and gals, buy soap and just take a shower.!
