Are We Heading Into A DEPRESSION?

Is it possible our economy could speed past a recession into a full-blown depression like that of the 1930s, when American unemployment reached 25 percent?

I love that at the very begining they compared the stock market to whirling dervishes. But it really does scare me that we may be going into a recession. mostly I am worried about my brother and father's jobs. My father words independtly and i don't know what my brother does. I just hope that the nation can pull out of this, and soon.

The economy is not doing well right now but i dont think we are anywhere near a depression. And if we do go into a depression it wont last long the economists have learned alot about depressions since the great depression and there is precautions that can be taken to avoid it or at least aviod a servere one.

My dad informed me yesterday that Japan once had a slump that lasted 10 years. if that is the case for our recession/depression i don't know what america will do. that could mean that this will still be going on when my class is graduating college and trying to get into the job market. this would not be good.

A depression is high scale for what is happening now. I don't think that it will happen. But the recession that is going on now is not good.
