Student loans are a growing problem n this country. Many graduates are finding that they're still paying hundreds of dollars a month on loans they created for college. My mom, who graduated in 93', will have to pay student loans until she is 50 years old. The benefits of college and the prosperity it promises is being degraded by the amount money required after you aleady have your degree. So, although I understand why the loans are necessary in helping college students, are these pro-longed payments really helping them?
