Craving Starbucks? McDonald's Might Be The Answer

Do you start the day off craving a cup of coffee? When we think of speciality drinks for many, the first to come to mind is Starbucks. To keep up with the competition and to try and get a share of the market, McDonald's just recently came out with a Premium Coffee, now they have announced a new plan for '08. McDonald's has a new announcement that you will want to read. Click on the title to read the annoucement.

Coffee; an addiction that you can't fight off. Lots of people I know get McD's breakfast.. to make specialty coffees apart of a one-stop deal is a pretty good profit idea. I myself will probably become more addicted to coffee than I already am, which can be a bad thing for the body AND the wallet.

I think this is a really good idea. I know sometimes on my way to school I stop at McDonalds to grab a coffee or something else and often wish I had more options like they do at Starbucks, I am very excited.

Hmm...this seems like a bad move for consumers in America. More corporations sucking you into their chains, vying for your money. If you seriously think any good will come out of this feel free to attempt to argue with me in person.

This is a very smart move for McDonalds, IMO. Coffee is one of the new "big things" with chains such as Starbucks and Kidd Coffee amking big bucks off this fad. McDonalds is making a smart move by trying to get a piece of that pie by offering these things. McDonalds is just supplying what the public demands.

I think this is a good idea, because McDonalds is an easier access restaurant than Starbucks is. Starbucks is amazing, they just need to have more establishments around this area. I think it's a good idea, but I'm not so sure McDonalds could compare to Starbucks... We'll see...

mcdonlads making specialty drinks? seriously? no good can come from this. places like kidd coffee will lose business and eventually shut down. what would we do without kidd coffee? anyway, could mcdonalds really make a drink a well as a place specialized for that sort of thing? everything these days is made for convenience. we are just going to get fatter. lets at least work out our foot muscles a bit more and drive to the coffee place. it may be a good move for the powerhouse mcdonalds, but is everyone else going to benefit from it?

I think this is a good idea since starbucks will most likely cost more. Hopfully this idea will be profitable to them and say around
