Should We Stay or Should We Go Now?

President Bush and Congress are headed toward another showdown on war spending, this time sparring over nearly $190 billion the Pentagon says is needed to keep combat in Iraq afloat for another year.

I think we should stay, Iraq doesn't need to turn into another Vietnam. I am sick and tired of hearing all of these people saying bring our troops home, if they weren't willing to fight and die for their country they shouldn't have enlisted. I feel that we should definitly send more troops and spend more money in Iraq, we need to finish what we started. The only scenario that involves the US withdrawing that is acceptable is to evacuate all US personnel and then to turn Iraq into a giant glass bubble via nuclear weapon.

I think the US should stay there, because without american troops things will get worse and there is a big chance that the islamic government will take over and make that place even worse than Iran.I know its hard to spend so much money and lose so many lives but ... the war is under way and george bush's forecast that it would be over in few weeks did not come true...

Amanda sallie, period 4 says......
I believe that we should bring our troops home. There is no reason for letting them die for nothing. Let me ask you this , what will the troops and america get for fighting in Iraq? Who cares what iraq does with their government. We are basically doing Iraq the way the British were doing so long ago. BRING OUR TROOPS HOME!
