I think keeping unions is a big deal. So many are for keeping them and others may not care. To me this is all about our rights and I feel as if they are taking them away. When people are working they should have a choice in what they do or how they do it. Something from this article that stuck out to me was if they take unions away then the workers ca't go to their employers if there is a problem. It mentioned right now they can go to their boss if their is a safety issue etc. This is very important to me and everyone should be free to do and say what they want. I think this issue should be rethought.

Why unions are worth fighting for was the first time i have heard about the fight to keep unions. I never really knew what a union was until this article. i feel that unions should be allowed in business. I think its a great way for workers to voice their opinion on how the company is run. It could bring new ideas to the company and if not at least the worker knows their voice is being heard.

"Why Unions Are Worth Fighting For," was a very informative article. It not only talked about what unions wanted, but also what they are. I agree with this article because I think as an employee you should have some freedom. Yes you have a job, but being able to go to your boss about an issue, concern, or whatever is very important and you shouldn't be punished. The article says that unions focus a lot on job quality and resisting outsourcing, I feel that's important for our country.

I think keeping unions is a good idea, it's a way to give workers a say about whats going on where they work. Employees should have freedom and an input on how things are ran, even if what they want doesn't happen they're still being heard.

Even if it doesn't seem like it, unions play an important role in America and the work force. A union gives employees a voice against thier employer. Without it, they wouldn't be able to go to their boss if there is a safety issue. I personally think unions are very important and should be worth fighting for. Without them, freedom/rights would be taken away.

This article discusses the significance of keeping unions, and the role they play in our country. I agree that unions are important, and they let workers have an actual place at their place of employment. Unions allow them to speak their mind, and have better wages for the kind of work they do. Also, workers can feel safer and they can have the chance to go to their employers with concerns regarding safety. They actually care about the job quality and well-being of their workers, unlike a lot of jobs you hear about.

I think having rights in the work place is a big deal. Without the unions the voice of the average employee will be lost forever. Honestly our workers need to be kept happy otherwise everything will turn around to bite us in the but. So i think the unions need to be kept. even if things sometimes get a little extreme. At least opinions are heard.

I think keeping unions is a good thing, without them corporations would make all decisions which is not good for workers. Having a union gives the employees a chance to fight for what they think they deserve. Meaning better wages, safety, or any other problems they are dealt with. I think getting rid of unions could be one of the worst possible things to do in todays world.

Unions are a HUGE deal here in the US. I think they should be kept, simply for job security. Unions provide some sort of security and if there is a problem, you can speak with your employer and not be in fear of your job. It isnt fair to take that feeling of safeness about your job, and to have to feel that if you were to speak your opinion or about something you didnt believe was right or safe, that you could lose your job.

I think that keeping our unions is a good thing to do. Workers should always have someone representing them and making sure that they are getting fair treatment. Taking away unions from workers is a way of taking away their freedom. I believe that unions are worth fighting for.

I think having a union is a good thing and it is something we need to keep around. Personally I think more places should go to a union because in the economy we have now, I think it would make a lot of people feel more secure in their job by letting them know that they can't just be fired for anything. I think taking away unions will also make the workers a little more on the edge because they cant go to their employer if they have a problem, so most likely they are going to talk it out with other coworkers which the other co workers might realize that they feel the same way and then there is a huge problem with unhappy workers that could have been solved if they would just keep unions.
