Read this article about the price of jeans. How much would you be willing to pay for a price of jeans? What is the most you have ever spent on a pair? How do you feel about this new trend?
This is ridiculous. The most I have ever spent on a pair of jeans at most is thirty dollars and thats just because they don't get any cheaper no matter where you go anymore. That is all I am willing to spend as well. This costly trend is completely unnecessary especially considering that a pair of jeans cost around $5 dollars to make, so you want to pay $375 for them? Its crazy!
The most I've spent on a pair of jeans is like $3, I only shop at thrift stores for clothes, the most I'd ever spend on a pair would be $10. This is one of the craziest trends ever, and I am glad I won't be a part of it.
I usually don't like spending more than like $40 for a pair of jeans and I do think it is outrageous to spend up to $400 on a pair of jeans just for the brand-name. I did get a pair of Buckle jeans for Christmas but that was honestly too expensive. I feel like this new trend is ridiculous but there are people out there who do buy designer stuff like that & so be it. It does have an effect on the economy
This is ridiculous. I would never spend money on jeans because I don't wear jeans because I prefer basketball and khaki shorts and sweat pants. The most I have spent on a pair of jeans is $0.00 because I don't wear jeans this new trend of jeans is ridiculous.
The new prices are getting pretty out of hand. But I have to admit I would probably by a pair or $200 jeans if I had the money to do so. So far I do not have this kind of money and the most I have ever spend on a pair of jeans is $50. I guess you could say I try to buy name brans but lately I have been falling back on that because prices are just getting too high. The new trend is hopefully going to stop soon because more and more people will be going into debt for clothing and its just not worth it. People should be paying more on their house payments than clothing not the other way around.
I think it is insane that someone would pay even more than $100 on a pair of jeans. The fact that some people would be willing to pay $300 or $400 for one pair of jeans is outrageous. I don't think I've ever paid more than $50 or $60 on a pair of jeans. This is ridiculous.
The most that I have ever spent on a pair of jeans was about 35-40 dollars. I would never spend more than that on a pair of jeans. I think that this rising trend is very unnecessary. I feel like people are only buying these pricey jeans because they are a name brand and that's it. People always want what is "in" and never want to be unfashionable. What people need to realize is that a cheap pair of jeans can be just as fashionable and comfortable as a designer pair, but at a better cost!
the most I have ever spent on a pair of jeans is 90 dollars from Abercrombie & Fitch, my mom almost KILLED me when I came home with those jeans. I also used to have a pair of Buckle jeans , those run up to 200 dollars but I would never pay that nor do i think mine were that much. No teenager I know can afford the super expensive jeans and if their parents are willing to pay that then great but spending that much on one pair of jeans is ridiculous and I know my mom would never not would I with my own paycheck. That's just insane.
I think it is completely insane that some people pay ridiculous and completely unnecessary amounts of money to pay for something that could be 200 to 300 dollars cheaper. And usually if they can't afford it but still buy it, those are the same people that wonder why they are in debt. Mostly it's not the government's fault that this country is in debt. People in this society need to learn how to handle money and learn how to save.
Most I would ever pay for a pair of jeans is $15. The most I've paid is $12, and that's from Meijer. This new trend is completely ridiculous, pretty soon, no one will be able to afford jeans. And thus, the price will come back down.
I would never ever pay for a pair of jeans that is over $50. The most I have paid for jean is 30 bucks and I thought i was paying to much. If you do want to pay $200 for jeans be my guest but i would much rather spend my money on other things. If you have to Spend that kind of money on jeans, my opinion on you is that your a little insecure about what people think about you.
This trend is just outrageous. Who would pay hundreds of dollars for a pair of jeans? I will only spend up to $20, we complain that it is hard to keep our budget in control but I think if we did a better job at figuring out what was more important to spend our money on, it wouldn't be so hard to control. Save your money, don't buy over priced clothes.
Over $300 dollars for jeans is crazy, the most i have spent is about $25.00. I love jeans so i f i had no other option i would probably spend up to $70 on a really nice pair, but that would be hard to do.
This is ridiculos, the most I have ever spent on a pair of jeans is $25. I am willing to spend up to $40 on a pair of jeans, but not just any jeans, they would have to be some type of name brand pants. I think this new trend is not a good idea, because it's not like ever average person would be able to buy these jeans. Only the rich & wealthy people are the only people who I think would honestly purchase jeans at this price.
I think that this new trend is ridiculous. Nobody around here or anyone I know would pay that much money for a pair of jeans. The most I've ever paid is around forty dollars, no more than fifty. I honestly think fifty dollars is too much, I can't imagine paying more than that. But, of course if I had the money for it, and I wanted the jeans, then yes I would probably buy them.
This is absolutly outrageous. I would never pay that much for jeans. $40 is the most i'd ever spend on jeans. The most i've spent on jeans is $38. I really hope that this trend ends soon because its ridiculous.
This is probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. It amazes me how much some people will pay for a pair of pants. $375 is outrageous and I would never in my life pay that much. I could buy like five outfits for that cost. I think the most I've ever spent on a pair of jeans was like $40-50. And, honestly, I will probably never do that again. I think that U.S. citizens should not complain about the economy if they are wasting all of their money on clothes. That's just my opinion.
Why in the world would anyone pay $375-400 on a pair of brand name jeans?!?!?! I only spend like 25-40 (at most) on a good pair of jeans. I am glad that I'm not dumb enough to fall for this trend because that is a great waste of money, I could use that money for A LOT of new clothes instead of one pair of pants.
The most I have ever spent on a pair of jeans is $40. In my opinion any pants that cost over $50 is just ridiculous. I know a girl who has 3 or 4 pairs of Buckle jeans which can cost up to $200. When you buy brand name clothing and the price is high, all you are doing is paying for the name. Also why buy one pair of jeans that cost $200 or $375 when you can use that money to get 5 or 6 outfits for that much money, maybe even more.
The most I have ever spent on a pair of jeans would be around thirty dollars and that is the highest I will ever spend. This expensive trend is crazy, but nothing too new. Designer clothing has and always will be very pricey, but in my opinion marking up the retail cost this much for the jeans is just as good as having them manufactured in China.
Paying $375 for a pair of jeans is ridiculous. I would never imagine paying that much for a clothing item. The most I've spent on a pair of jeans is around $40. This new trend is insane. I think if you have that much money to blow on stupid things such as a pair of jeans, you should stop and spend that money on a good cause.
i dont spend money on jeans because all i wear is sweatpants. they are cheaper and way more comfortable than jeans. I think spending that much money on a pair of jeans is ridiculous. Everyone should wear sweats!
Well, I have two older cousins that usually give me most of their old stuff. And when I do buy jeans I don't go past 40 dollars. Buying jeans for that much is ridiculous and is a waste of money. All of that money could go towards food for your family and other necessities. It has a big effect on the economy.
Spending almost $400 on one pair of jeans is the stupidest thing I think I've ever heard of. The most I've spent on a pair of jeans is $40 and honestly, that's all I'm really willing to spend. They're just pants; name brand or not. Nobody cares where people get their jeans, so why spend that much trying to impress people that wouldn't even give you a second look?
The most I'd ever spend on a pair of jeans is between $20-$40, but I never wear jeans. I do think it's ridiculous to spend hundreds of dollars on designer jeans, but if you have the money to do it why not.
I don't think any clothing should be so much money just for a name. If it truly took that amount of money to make the clothing and the business receives a small profit, then I can understand. But when the company makes 1000% return on 10 dollars, its outrageous. I, frankly, don't care what brand my pants are, nor do I even know if they have a brand. And I'd like to keep it that way.
I think it is crazy that someone would buy a pair of jeans for that much to be honest you could probably buy 20 pairs on pretty nice jeans for the price of just that one, just plain outrageous to me. But the most I have ever spent on a pair was probably 65buy to 75you and that was kinda dumb but anyway I prefer sweatpants to jeans 100% and they cost much less and feel great.
I would never pay over 100 dollars for a pair of jeans. Everything I buy is off of the sale rack. I barely buy things full price. Also teenagers don't really have the money to be spending that much on a pair of jeans.
I can not believe someone would be willing to pay $375 for a pair of jeans. The most I have paid for a pair was probably around $40. It is crazy that in our bad economy today, people have $300+ to spend on pants.
Im not necicarally sure how much i have spent on a pair of jeans because, well, my mom buys them for me, but i do know its not over 25 dollars and I think that its rediculous that people are willing to pay hundreds of dollars for jeans that you could buy for 15 dollars. I mean, if they want to waste their money, thats their buiness, but I personally would never spend that much.
The most I would spend on jeans is about 50 dollars and that's the most. The most I have ever paid is $45. If you shop right you can buy good jeans like Levi's or hollister for 20 bucks when they are on sale. I would personally never pay $400 for a single pair of pants, but if you're load why not I suppose
I'd be willing to pay $50 for a pair of jeans. but the most i've paid is probably $40. I think people paying $375 for a pair of jenas is absolutly ridiculous! i would never buy a pair of jeans for that much unless they had super powers.
I think the most I've spent on a pair of jeans is $40 and I really don't know why because they looked like a normal pair of everyday jeans. It's a popular trend, but everyone is doing it and the industry is making an easy profit off of it. If us, Americans, were any smarter, we would have caught on to this trick by now.
I feel like this is just pointless and a little pathetic. I rarely spend money on clothes and the most I have ever spent is about $30.00. I can't believe that this trend has caught on, especially since they are so expensive. There must about 1,000 things I can think of to spend that money on rather than a nice pair of jeans.
I do see the price of jeans rising, Buckle'sprices have rose. A pair of jeans there is a lil over 100 dollars sadly I've spent that much on jeans which now that I look at it I feel pretty dumb. But it's sad to see the prices of jeans rise, there are many people being let off of work and it'd b hrs for them to spend that much on a pair of blue jeans.
i honestly go to places like platos closet and jeans arnt that expensive. ive maybe spent 30 dollars but thats about it, and i think the new trend is completely unneeded because people have better things to spend their money on.
I don't mind spending money on jeans but anything over 100$ I say is out there too much but ill buy jeans on sale too I mean I dont care the price doesn't matter if you like them wear them
I would be willing to spend around $30 for a pair of jeans. The simple thought of spending this much money on a pair of pants is insane! I see no need to spend anywhere near these levels of money on something as simple as a pair of pants! This trend of rising jeans prices is insane. This shows the greed of these American companies charging insane prices on something as simple as a pair of pants!
I feel that jeans are really overpriced. but in my opinion it's just about the brand name and who makes them like the article says. people will pay a fortune just to have a certain name on the tag when in reality you could probably get a pair that looked exactly the same or a lot cheaper. I won't spend more than like 50 on a pair
