Groceries Costing More and More

Due: Dec. 2nd

We have talked about prices increasing on food like peanut butter, but we have not looked at the grocery store overall. Have you noticed an overall increase in foods at the store? What about when you go out to eat? Have you noticed a difference between sit-down restaurants and fast food ones? How will this effect your family?

dod gamit this sucks, my flank-steak is going to be expensive, i guess the US might be reduced to cheese and bread for the poor, i do this during extended campouts, and let me tell you, it sucks

i've seen the rise in price in a lot of stuff, but my family will continue to buy and make our food, it's a good family activity, we all participate, my mom chops things, my dad cooks it, and i clean the dishes, my little sister helps everybody and sets the table, then we have a nice dinner and talk about our day, so other than the cost, this wont effect my family very much because we only go out to eat once a month.

food prises go up all the time justlike gas and every other thing in america. therefore its not a big deal and they will just go down sooner or later.

prices of all sorts of things go up all the time for example gas, food or bills. people eventually get used to it so its not a big surprise when it goes up or down. the price always depends on the quantity of the product at that time period.

I haven't noticed a change in prices in restaurants lately, but I have noticed price changes elsewhere. Gas is the biggest one, and that's a no-brainer. However, with food prices rising, food is becoming harder to pay for than even gas. My family does not go to the gas station as often as we go to the store. With prices rising, and only one parent working to feed a family of six, it's getting harder for us.

I don't really pay too much attention to the price changes in food, but it's basically like gas and everything else. It goes up the down and people just have to deal. However, when prices go up it does become difficult to make anything other than simple things and to go out to eat.

the store part will effect my family but im the only one who usually eats out in my family. But my mom buys alot of items from the store. So it could hurt or it could not who knows.

My dad used to complain about the cost of coffee going up constantly. Fast food does tend to be cheaper than a sit down dinner, not always though.

The increase in food costs will definitely be a big issue around the holiday season for my family. The only upside to this that I can see is that it might bring us closer together around the dinner table since we're all sharing a lesser amount of food.

i think that it is ridiculous for some prices at the grocery store. i remember going to the store when i was little and green beans were like 50 cents, now they are almost a dollar! i know that is not that much but it just shows how much the price has risen.

everything at the grocery store has gone up a bit but not as bad as my mom and dad were thinking it was. when we go out things are more expensive, and we have cut back on it before so we could do it again if we have to, but it hasnt gotten to that yet. everything is pretty much the same, and i hope it stays that way.

I don't believe in eating food so there is no need for me to go to the store and see how much food is there. I refuse to even glance at food. I do like octopi though so that helps a bit. I'm running out of stupid things to say already so I am going to stop doing this dumb blog now. Stay golden, Pony Boy. ((:

Personally i think that the prices have jumped so many times so to hear that they are adding money to the prices now that just means that everybody is used to it. Its kind of like the gas prices and the prices of food at grocery stores for example the peanut butter.

I personally have not noticed an increase in prices, this might be because I walk around completely oblivious to my surroundings.

Paula McGowan has cut out soda, switched to store brands for other foods and even sent her boyfriend hunting for deer so she can put food on the table.
These days everyone is struggling just like paula. Food is getting way to expensive to the point where people can't afford to buy it. If things don't change people all over are going to be in a world of hurt.

Everything has gotten extremely expansive. They raise the prices on food because they know that people need it to survive, so they are gonna buy it. It'll be harder for most families including mine to get everything they need for the week while still staying inside of a budget, if there is one. You can barley even enjoy a sit down meal because they price raises unexpectantly.

Increasing food prices is the worst thing that could possibly happen to America right now. Our economy is so messed up already and prices of food are already to expensive. Family's these days do not have the money to add extra expenses.

I never really pay attention to food prices in the stores . But sometimes I do see a difference .But people wind up getting use to the rice change . I think its stupid and these prices arent helping at all . Eventually theyll go down .

increasing the money on food is far from a good idea. families do not have the extra money to afford that, but i havent noticed an increase yet.

I haven't really noticed an increase in food prices recently. This could have a big effect as we are spending the same amount of money on a smaller amount of food and some people are already struggling to afford food. It surprises me how much food prices have increased recently.

food prices are unstable and go up all the time, this is very much like gas prices, we as a whole community of people are used to this happening so its not very surprising when this happens.

The food prices are always rising and falling like any other general need. What goes up, must come down. So I don't think it's that big of a deal. We have to buy groceries, or eat foot of some sort. That's how we survive. Therefor I don't think it really matters how high grocery prices are.
