I feel that it won't be real bad if a new league is started. Players should have a choice on where they want to play. But if a resolutiis made it will be good as well because it will keep the NBA strong.

that would be sweet, its spontaneous it could go very far, if players start their own teams, they could make a very interesting twist by totaly mixing teams and if they could do this, they could break any boundarys they have fabricated from team rivalrys this could bring some of the fans favorite players together, but they would just have to make sure that there isnt any one team that would dominate the court, if that happened, one of two things would happen, the players league (quite a catchy name) would fall apart, or the team would be banished, just like the Harlem Globetrotters were.

also, just like austin said" if a resolutiis made it will be good as well because it will keep the NBA strong." and if the Players League could keep going, there would be stronger competition because they would attempt to best their friends that would be on the other team but it would also be cleaner competition because the players would also have to play with that person and they want that person as a friend.

if players picked their own teams it would make the teams more interesting . the teams would be mixed with different talents and players which would make it more interesting.

If players start their own teams, the good players will pick to be with other good players. Leaving the "not so good" players with the other "not so good" players. The teams would be fixed, and some would dominate others. The new league would be different though, and could be a good experience.

i think that it is a bad thing if the NBA left and went to a knew league. Everybody in the NBA should stay where they are and not move around from league to league. Also the league has so many different players in the league and also the league is strong so KEEP IT GOING. The NBA is strong!!!!!!!

If a new league wouldn't be such a bad a idea! Player would have more of a choice of where they want to play. Many different talented players would come together on one team and many players in the same team now who don't like each other could leave and go to different teams. I think it would be very interesting !

i think the NBA should not move because there is so many good players, and teams already in the league o why switch now. Also if the NBA starts to move teams round then all the good players would be on one team, and their would be no competition. You would also lose really good, and talented coaches.

I think that if I were making millions of dollars a year playing basketball, I wouldn't be complaining. Instead I'm making 8 bucks an hour dealing with dogs at the vet office who want to kill me most of the time. I wouldn't be too sad if the new season didn't start because there's still football. Football is more violent, therefore more fun

Having a new NBA isn't really a bad thing. I think it's better if the players have a choice of where they want to play. If players got to choose their own teams it would make the teams 10 times more interesting. Having players pick their own teams would mix things up and make people want to watch the games and follow the NBA more.

I think that the players starting their own league is a good idea, because i think if all the players threaten to leave the NBA it will show the people in charge that they really are serious about leaving, and the people in charge will be forced to make a decision quickly. But if they really do leave, i think they should be allowed to come back, because all the players really care about is getting to play basketball, it's nothing against the NBA.

I can see the postive and negative in players starting a new league. It can be good because it would definately be interesting and go pretty far. The negative would be that teams could possibly become unfair, for example the strong players against the not as strong, would definately be an unfair match. However, either way it would be interesting.

I honestly am not affected by whether a new league is formed or not. I think a new league would be a good idea for a while, but eventually, I believe the same thing would happen to that league which is happening to this one now.

"Exhibitions were also held during the league's lockout in 1999, but since they were able to play 50 games that year after resolving the labor issue, there was no need for players to consider starting a new league." This fact already plainly states that lockouts have occured before. What's to say this won't happen again if a new league is formed?

Another very good point has already been brought up by several others as well. Players would indeed choose to be on a team with other good players, creating a dominant team against a team of not-so-good players. How is that fair? Sports are supposed to be somewhat fair. That is most certainly not fair.

Over all, I don't think a seperate league is a good idea, but as I said before, it really doesn't bother me whether a new league is formed or not.

im not 100% sure on how i would feel. it would be interesting to see who would be on what team with who, but the NBA has been around for some time now and im not in favor of seeing it go away.

I think that the new league could be a big hit depending on how the players put it together. If there are fewer teams with more ''superstars'' on each team then the basketball would be much more exciting for veiwers to watch.

I could really care less about whether there is a new league or not. I'm not much into basketball so it wouldn't bother me. Other people might have a problem because the teams might be fixed but that's like the only major problem I can see with this whole thing. But then again this could be kind of intresting but I still won't watch basketball either way.

i think that it si dumbe any of this started they should have just agreed at the beging. Now that have to amke a big deal about it and trying to ake a new league thats just dumb. NBA just set things stirght and agree it is not that big of deal.

While I'm not sure whether or not players forming their own league would be a good idea, I think it would be interesting to see how things would be different.
