Who is Bernanke and why is he important to Economics? What is important about this article?
This Is A Big Decision Because He's An Important Person To The Economy Because He Has Just Been Voted Into His Second Term As Chairman. He Must Be Doing Something Correct.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Ari4. Bernanke is a very importent person, and as his second year as chairman. that proves he is doing a good job.

ReplyDeleteBernanke is the federal reserve chairman who has just been voted into his second term. He is a very important person because he has a very large say in the finances of this country. This article is important because it shows how divided our government is right now concerning our economy.
ReplyDeleteBernanke is an idiot, but a smart man at the same time. He knew our economy was going downhill yet he refused to admit. But he also pulled us out of a second great depression. While not telling us what was really going on with our economy was dumb, but saving it still helped....sort of.
ReplyDeleteI think most people are being a little too hard on him. No one really knows how to help or hurt an economy, and I am sure that he was not intentionally trying to hurt ours. Everyone deserves a second chance. He obviously knows a lot about economics, and maybe he can help us out now.
ReplyDeleteBernanke is in his second term as chairman. A person thats involved as a chairman and is doing another year must be important. He makes important decisions and does a good job.
ReplyDeleteBernanke, I feel, is not doing such a good job. Some may say that he saved the U.S. from the second "Great Depression", but I doubt that is the case. He was the same person as the Chairman during the Bush junior presidency, and as we all know, he left the U.S. in debt as he was leaving office. If Bernanke expects to get yet another term, he must do something to improve the economy. I'm surprised that he was voted for the second term in the first place.

ReplyDeleteBernanke is an important part of the Economy. He is a smart guy. But, he did know we were heading for recession but he fails to admit it. He must being doing something good tho if he is on her second term.

ReplyDeleteCall me crazy, and clinically I am, but when somebody does a bad job, then LIES about it, don't they usually get fired? Didn't we do that with a certain head of FEMA who was clearly not prepared for a certain hurricane? Maybe we didn't, my memory's a little fuzzy, but we should have. I might not be so tough on the guy, but he LIED about! That cost us a lot. So no. Send him to the pile with Rove,Rumsfeld,Brown, and the rest of those jokers.

ReplyDeleteBernanke happens to be a very important chairman who has been voted into his second term as chairman. The decisions of finances in this country happens to come from Barnanke and what he decides. Barnake is doing a great job as chairman because, he was strong enough and able to pull us out of the great depression and at the same time he knew how much US was going down hill and was able to save us.
