It is good news that the recession may be over. But I hope it is true and doesn't fall backwards after all of Obama's stimulus packages end. It will be a long road to recovery, but at least more positive things are being said now.
I really don't think that the recession is over, but it is almost out of sight. There are so many articles that say it is over, it is almost over, it won't be over for a while. Which is it? I would like to know an official estimate
Like I've said in many previous blogs, yes I believe the experts are correct in stating that the recession is coming to an end. Does this mean that its over? Absolutly not. Although many government and non-government programs have kicked in and mended many areas of the damage, we still have multiple things to patch up still. Let's just hope that the light at the end of the tunnel remains this close...
I am glad that the experts think that the rescession might be ending. I don't, however, think that it is over yet. If the recovery continues instead of dropping back down we will soon be out of the recession.
I am glad the experts are predicting the recession's end, but with unemployment still high we have a lot of work to do. Soon the economic recovery from stimulus money will end and we will have to see if we can stand on our own without it and make economic gain. I hope that our economy can continue to grow and that we make our way out of this recession.

Even though the economy has grown since july, i really don't believe that the recession is over what so ever. Obama said that it was welcoming news but he knows that we have a long way to go for us to really be out.
the recession needs to be ending soon. i'm hoping that it is. all signs are pointing towards an end but you never know. this recession has been going on for so long that it's just unpredictable.

The more people look at the recession and analyze whether or not the recession is over, the more unsure I am about it myself. It is good news though that there are many articles supporting the idea that the recession is over and I do believe that we are slightly leaning that way.

I am so happy that the recession is almost over, I am very happy for our country and our economy because we have been in a slump for so long. And it's about time that we have found a real good solution. What I hope is that after we come out of this recession is that we learn from our mistakes and not fall right back into the same position we were in after all of our hard work. It won't be easy but we'll make it out for sure.
There is no way in heck this recession is over. I can see it coming out but it is not done. Our un-employment rate is still high. And the gas prices are up too! I want to get out of this SOON!

I don't think the recession is over but I hope it is soon. There are so many people sating different things that contradict each other. It's very confusing. I hope we don't fall back in to a recession after Obama's stimulus stuff end's. That would be horrible.

I hope that the recession truly is over. It is hard to tell if this statement is true with the unemployment rate being so high, but I think we are heading in the right direction. After all, the unemployment rate isn't just going to get better right away.

I don't think we're out of darkness yet, but I think the end is in sight. I think Obama is doing well with ending it, but I'm also not sure how long the redemption will be once his plans end. After all, other presidents have tried similar plans and sometimes they don't always work too well.
The recession may be over, or it may not. If it is over, we're still feeling the effects because it will take time for us to have more ease in our pockets. It's coming, but it may take some more time.
I think that we are close to the end of this recession but we're not totally there yet. Even after the recession is over we will still have to recover from unemployment and everything. If we don't slide back into the recession I think we can make it out soon.
i think that the stimulus package is a very good idea & i think it's really helping out our ecomomy alot. people were saying a while ago we may go into another depression but it's kind of a relief we're starting to hear more positive feedback from this instead of the negativity that's been said for the past years.

I don't think that the recession is over just yet. Yesterday the stock market crashed again, and it is still doing really badly. However, I do believe that the recession is coming to an end. Businesses are starting to get back on their feet and things are running smoothly again. Before we know it, the stock market will be up again and the unemployment rate will decrease. But we need to remember that there are always going to be ups and downs in the economy and nothing is ever going to be perfect with it.

I think it is great. the fact the recession may be over is a wonderful thing to hear. i really would love to see it some to an end and not fall through again. It's obvious that the recession will take some time before it is officially out. But that fact that the last three months have been the best since the spring of last year is good to hear. I think one of the best ways to get things really on the way back up is to create more jobs. The only way money is going to start circulating more is if more people are employed. The stimulus packages are doing som help but not enough. We need more jobs, it's as simple as that.

The economic indicators are telling us that the recession can be over soon, but now we look at more than just the GDP we are also watching unemployment we are looking to see whether or not there have been more jobs created, or if families and businesses are doing better. We also know that, we have a long road ahead and although we barely had a boom, it was caused by government spending and not by consumer spending because most if not all consumers have reduced and cut back on spending.
Seeing that the economy has grown makes me very hopeful. I do believe that we are no where near out of this giant hole the nation dug itself into, but we are slowly recovering. I am sure that with all the plans the government has put into action through stimulus packages and more that we will make a full recovery in the future. Maybe not the immediate future, but we will get out of this I'm sure.

Yes,the unemployment rate is very high,but we cant expect it to decline abruptly. I still am in belief that the recession will be over no time soon,so i believe the people should finally come to grasp with this concept. Were still being hit with some harsh downturns and i hope I will be proven wrong here shortly. Better yet,as quickly as possible.

I think it's a small stream of light in a dark room. Sure it's good news but I dough the hole recession is all done. It looks like it's around the end but still we are not out of it.
I hope the recession ends like they said it will. The government has done so much to stop it. Hopefully something the government did can do what its supposed to do. I on another note I have no clue when the recession is coming to an end.
Well people have many different opinions on whether the recession is over or not. I think it isn't but then again I'm just an average sixteen year old who is still a little ignorant about this topic. But for the most part my question is, how do they think the recession is over but the unemployment rate is still so high?

Thats great that experts think the recession is over. I believe its not fully over yet! We still have a lot of things to do. Although it is better, its not over. Continue what we are doing and it wont be too long before it is truely over.
i think that a lot of people are becoming stable during this recession, but for many people, not much has changed. its good that the experts believe we're coming out of the recession. we have to get the EMPLOYMENT rates back up and keep unemployment down for awhile. it will probably be a little while longer before we come completely out of the recession, this has been a long one.

The recession coming to a supposed end is great, obviously. But becoming complacent is not an option. Unemployment is still high and not a lot of people see a way to fix that situation with long term results. The idea of the recession being over is just that, an idea and a hope. Celebrating is out of the question until we are not just getting by, but prosperous.
The recession is not over yet, but it's coming to an end i guess. I just hope that things continue to get better because anything could happen at any given time and things could get worse. But we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
i think i've said this in like 5 i r 6 different blog responses, but i'm still saying i don't think the recession is really over. Many, many businesses are still having problems getting they're businesses back up. People are STILL losing their homes.

I think that the recession in some aspects is over, the housing market is in much better shape than it was say a year and a half ago;however, the unemployment rate is still quite high.
It's nice to see that the recession is coming to an end, but I don't believe we're completely out of the deep water just yet. Unemployment is still high. Until we can fix that, we're going to remain at the tail end of this recession..
